I feel that ppf on frt bumper, partial hood & fenders. mirrors, rocker panels and rear fender valance (door) are a reasonable value vs the cost of protection. An important feature is that the large black lower intakes are not not protected with paint (gloss black plastic) and will be very susceptible to road rash and bug impact defects. Having these protected reduces the visable deterioration on the front end.

I would do a full hood & fenders, the seem across the hood is just unsightly. In addition to your list, the A pillars should be done as well as the leading edge of the roof. Once that's all done, you probably may as well have wrapped the entire car.

You may think that, but the cost of the materials alone is significant. For doors, roof, rear quarters and trunk, you're looking at 2-2.5x the cost installed, at least.

I'd imagine most installers would be asking at least $6k for full PPF on an ITS, and as others have mentioned (maybe in another thread...), templates for the roof and rear bumper are still unavailable according to Xpel's website (you can get an idea for cost as well): https://www.xpel.com/paint-protecti...--AND--Light-Trucks/2024/Acura/Integra/Type-S

I did end up doing full front bumper, hood and fenders to include mirrors and headlights, but I skipped the a-pillars/roof. A rock may hit up there sure but my primary concern is the "sandblast" effect from a million tiny rock chips, and that's not really a concern for those areas. We'll see if skipping out on the rockers is going to be a problem but so far so good with 1600 miles and I'll be adding splash guards soon too. I would have done partial fenders and hood but I agree, I couldn't come to terms with having the seam there so I changed my mind (also having an installer not try to rip me off helped...).

I'm not a believer in full PPF unless you're changing the look of the car, e.g., Xpel Stealth. Reasoning for that is obviously cost vs worth, and paying 10% or more than the cost of the car for invisible plastic for me is excessive. Also the concern of a car that's driven frequently is minor incidents, like a dent in the door. This type of stuff to me is more of a threat than rock chips, and PPF is not designed to withstand an impact like that and will most likely tear. So your ~$200 paintless dent removal repair just shot up several hundred dollars to cover the cost of removing and reapplying the film for that panel. For me, that goes well beyond the point of my personal tolerance, so I'm not interested in full car PPF.

I have considered Stealth for this car but like the Performance Red Pearl too much.

I have PPF on the front bumper, hood, quarters, A pillars, Mirrors, front edge of the roof, top edge of the rear bumper, and just behind the wheel wells. After 91k I have some chips and other minor damage that the PPF could have a least minimized if I had my doors, trunk lid, and the full rear bumper done. Some are due to stones, others a careless kid, and the rear bumper someone bumping it in a parking lot. Yeah, it won't entirely prevent the door ding, but should at least prevent damaging the paint.
