Have a feeling I'll struggle a bit to get down to MSRP in California, but I planned on waiting out a few months anyways so much more time for things to cool off.
yeah California isn’t the greatest to buy cars in general. Cameron Hill another YouTuber who bought a Type R went and called multiple dealerships and found one I believe in Ohio so he travelled really far

Guys did this for the GT500 when it came out too. Tuners on the east coast were getting cars from the mid west to have them first and at much cheaper prices. Its very typical for Shelby guys.

I'm willing to travel what would equate to like a 5 or 6 hr drive back if I have to so that opens up A LOT of options for me....just hoping I don't have to go that far haha
im lucky to have about 10 dealers within 70 miles or so (tri-state area). Hoping the one my reservation is sent to doesn’t play any games when the official pricing/paperwork is ready to be signed lol

Damn I keep forgetting y’all pay that much.
Ya the Type S is gonna be a tough sell. I’m hoping they ruin it somehow to save me the $$. Automatic only might do it :)

In theory they’ll be produced after the other models so maybe some kinks will be ironed out. With any luck they’ll option it up like the Si here so it’ll be a decent value.

Seems a Reddit post on the Acura sub has a couple folks claiming the dealers are hearing the integra wont hit dealer lots til end of the year. That could be a bit nuts for some of us who are waiting

Acura did state in the press retract Spring was on Sale date. Most of the time the sales people don’t fully know what goes on what comes. Only ones that do are GM’s.

absolutely. Although the chip issues are starting to matter again, Apple is running into build issues, reports this morning and Renault is going to be 300k cars shy for the year due to chips.
I’m sure Honda has a game plan and hopefully it’s not a ford plan of building the cars on holdback until they can be completed at port or the dealers

guess we’ll find out in 20 days

From what I know Acura and Honda aren’t building cars and taking things off of it to sale them. Rest assure, they won’t do what Ford does by having them outside and not having chips till they get them

I guess that would account for the whole "limited supply" tagline despite what Acura has already said about it.

I wonder if Acura is also planning for these to be special "launch edition" models... basically the same as the all the other integras, no trim or feature changes, just with maybe the addition of an engraved numbered badge inside the car or something just to make this first limited batch special to the early adopters. Although doing that would 300% give dealers a reason to jack up prices for those numbered launch editions. lol
