And the clutch pickup spot is high… why not just put it in the middle like all then other good ones? I can’t feel where it grabs and I feel I am waiting gas for sure this way as I rev to meet the clutch.
Lol the clutch grab is high but I got use to it now. Yea if your constantly revving out the gears then yea gas mileage will be horrible. I normally shift at 3k on normal drives. Coast when I can. I believe theres a way to adjust the clutch grab point but you run the risk of the clutch rubbing. Did this in my wrx which helped alot

I do have a tendency to sit in my car researching things on my phone with the air on, sipping some Starbucks coffee, perhaps I am ok then. I will keep monitoring.

And yes, mine is the LCM/Red 6MT.
My order is placed and deposit made. Might be able to get it by October, if I'm lucky.

Didn't see any mention of whether you have idle stop/start activated.
I don't because I am mostly able to avoid heavy traffic but it sounds like it could benefit you in PHL.

Unless you are on the Parkway or Expressway often you probably aren't doing a lot of steady speed cruising so your mpg isn't going to top 30. Nor is shifting over 5k.
Idle stop/start?

Yea if you drive the car like you stole it then fuel economy won't be kind to you. That's with any car. Anything past 3500k brings the mpg down so i settle for 3000 to 3200 shifts if I'm just cruising. Premium fuel is way to expensive right now to be an aggressive driver lol.

I have a tune for 93 octane and shift at around 3500 unless I'm first at a red light then I let her rip around 6k. Usually fill up at BP or Shell. No odd gas station names here.lol

30-35 avg for short errands and 38-40 avg on commutes. Engine is sport on individual mode because i prefer shifting with it (used to old NA engines with jerky DBC throttles)

Still taking it easy tho since it is at 500 miles but there are plenty of techniques to save gas with a manual without going slow. Unless you're trying to chug a V6+ through city driving then it will always be low 😅

To and from ace hardware(4 Mille drive) shifting at 4200-4500 rpm min. If you want good gas mileage no more than 3500 rpm. As you can see my range is 365 miles per tank which is around 30mpg the car is estimating

It’s one of the best clutches out there!

Had to go back to ace hardware because I got the wrong item. Decided to see the difference in comfort mode (ktuner stage 0) and shifting normally at 3k rpm. Big difference in mpg. So it's good on gas, it's just user error if your mpg is poor.

It's really smooth once you get the feel! Always takes me a min to get the right leg positioning (legs not too bent) so it is easier to lift my foot off the clutch to transition.

Ok I will try that stuff normal mode with 3rpm shifts
I mean you can have fun and shift higher but no more than 4000 rpm if you want at least 23-24mpg. With every car I purchase I almost make it a competition to beat whatever the car is rated at and I always win lol. But I'm just weird like that
