That release doesn't say anything about the heated rear seats (so it's possible) but it does say that they get the heated steering wheel--which tells me it's something that those of us in the US will be able to get (somehow, some way).
Oops, read too fast in my excitement; good catch

You've now got me interested in those heated rear seats though--they advertised them specifically in last year's press release, but this year's press release specifically doesn't say:

https://hondanews.ca/en-CA/releases...mium-performance-gateway-for-a-new-generation

Would I be less bitter if they lost the heated rear seats? You bet! Seems like it could be a coin flip, the manual doesn't say either way.
With it being only a 4 passenger there is a good chance it's no longer heated

I walk.
I just hope the seats are better than the A-Spec. My boney butt gets sore in drives longer than 1h. Doesn't happen in any other car I own, (M2cs, x3)
I have a 2021 M2C and reserved an Integra when first announced. The dealer invited me down to test drive a demo and I absolutely LOVED the A-Spec seats compared to my M2C seats. I am fat though, so take that into account.

Looks like its load capacity is the same as Type R.
Acura Integra Introducing the 2024 Acura Integra Type S! On Sale in June 1681327704799

850lbs is about norm for sedans...

680lbs is kind of light for 4 ppl at 170lbs each..... and nothing left for cargo.
Avg weight in USA: Male 200lbs, female 170lbs.

not a good family hauler.

Uh, can we discuss this somewhere a little more private? We've got Canadians on here and they may not know that we've got a bit of an obesity epidemic down here.

Hey now. I'm pretty sure I exceeded the 850 with only 4 in the car.

So what are people’s thoughts on the likelihood that you can install the heated steering wheel from the base Integra on the Type S?

Looking at the Honda install guide, you have to swap out the clock spring on the steering column and they give you a new wiring harness to install.

I’ve really enjoyed having a heated steering wheel in my current car this past winter, and would love to install one on the ITS if at all possible, even though it’s not an official accessory for the ITS.
Dammit…did I miss that it doesn’t have heated steering wheel, just heated seats? I saw in the manual that the suede wheel was just an option.

Not listed under the Type S accessories but I guess you could install the Aspect heated wheel option and not have the TypeS sticker

I also hope that the shifter bezel isn’t chrome or whatever, but it sure looks like it.

That's what I'm planning on doing....I value the heated steering wheel more than the the Type S badge, lol

The accessory list that was leaked was out of Canada, and they wouldn't have the heated wheel listed since it's a standard feature--Acura has a heated wheel, they want your money, they'll make it an available accessory for the US for sure.
