My dealer told me they already submitted their orders and white / red was definitely an option. With that being said, my local Austin dealer is scummy so who knows if what they're saying is true or not.
I have a feeling we're working with the same dealer...

I actually worked there for two weeks as a sales associate a few years ago after being laid off from a tech company, and the sleaziness was so bad, I just up and left. Couldn't stomach being instructed to blatantly lie to, and trick customers.

Pretty much the entire management team appears to have changed, though, so I'm hoping the sleaz mostly left with them.

Haha I feel ya. If they don't do a bait and switch at sale-time and try to slap on an ADM, that'd certainly help sway their reputation for me, but we'll see. I'm trying to mentally prepare myself to have to just walk away if they pull any shenanigans.

One of these two dealers told me that the markup is managed by the manufacturer. I immediately went to the other one.

If you have a trade, fully expect to be low balled on that. They want you to walk away so they can markup your car to someone walking in off of the street. They’ll take advantage of you one way or another.

The dealership model in general is highly corrupt and needs to go away.

I hope we both get our cars soon and without much of the nonsense but like you, I’m expecting the worst and preparing myself to walkaway as well.

Oh WOW, they are really prying on the uninformed consumers. Man that really sucks.

I always find Acura’s red leather to photograph much more vibrant than it is in-person.

It’s always a darker red in-person than how it looks in photos (which is a good thing IMO).

Are Tlx type S currently or was marked up?
They are most definitely gonna ride the Fl5 type R wave and probably gonna play the same games unfortunately since it’s a very “similar” car.
Which dealership in WA wanted to charge $15K over MSRP?
I was told the same CTR excuse by several dealerships trying to justify the ADM on the Type S.

I had to call around to find an MSRP dealership for the Type S.

All the reasons why the FL5 is marked up doesn’t really apply to the Integra… it’s not limited, won’t maintain its value like a type R, it’s not made in Japan… they will for sure try… but it won’t stick like the FL5

Don't know. My conversation was over once they confirmed an ADM.

My dealer is MSRP...which is why I want to know which dealer Porschegt23 consulted.

Precisely. Totally agree (matter of fact, I was disappointed to learn the Type S is built in the USA, lol).
However, try arguing that logic with an uniformed sales person (or sales manager, or GM, or dealer principle). It's an exercise in frustration and I don't have the time, lol.
