I do have one other local dealer that isn't charging ADM. I plan to get in their list as well.

I really should have been in lists much earlier but I kept teetering between car choices...early bird gets the worm and whatnot.
Well look at it this way, when there’s a car you want any amount of wait is worth it. It’s worse to settle for something else, pay a lot of money only to end up dissatisfied wishing you had the one you wanted.

It was actually a pretty short list, all cars had to be manual with 4 doors, fwd or awd. Used B8/8.5 Audi S4, used BMW 340i xdrive, Corolla GR, and of course the Integra Type S.

Some deals popped up here and there on the used cars but I couldn't look past the reliability aspect and new car warranty of the latter cars. By the time I committed it was already August lol.

Maybe it’s recency bias but the ITS is the clear cut choice above all options you listed. Colorolla gr is an interesting choice for AWD but for being an older family man that particular styling wouldn’t suit me so well. Also feels too small

I completely agree with you. It's just a waiting game at this point. It is annoying having to wait with no predetermined date from the dealer or Acura, but I know the ITS will show up sometime in the next 6 months (I hope...). If it does not show up by November, then I hope they don't send mind prior to March. I don't want to detail the card during the middle of winter.

Yup same boat ,but hoping for spring, my luck they will call me, middle of January 8 inches of snow on the ground, really want to get at least a 5 year ceramic on it and maybe ppf the front. Then krown spary the under carriage hit the insides of rockers, fenders, doors and what not. Before it sees the nasty WI winters.

Well November-december are the worst months for dealerships so maybe you’ll be able to get a better deal, although if you’ve got a set price then it doesn’t matter as much.

I hear you both in the nasty winters, Colorado gets a lot of snow, melts quickly but the road salt and bunch of random crap that gets kicked up and under the cars.

Keep in mind just because you're whatever number does not mean every person in front of you is going to buy when the time comes. When a car becomes available the dealer calls whoever on the list and there's a myriad of reasons why people pass on it. They bought something else, was a fit at time of deposit but not anymore, can't secure financing, when it's actually time to buy they're not ready, list goes on and on. Don't let it discourage you. Regardless of car if you're committed stick it out.
I'll echo this. I was initially 10th on the list at a dealer which only expected 8 allocations. Was expecting to be early next year but got a call last week about one that apparently showed up unexpectedly at the dealer. One person in front of me bought a FL5 and never withdrew their deposit. Another didn't want LCM and a third, the dealer couldn't get a hold of. If someone's open on color, the wait may not be too terrible.
