It may be helpful to modify your approach. The irons in the fire strategy is always a solid one. If you haven't already, I suggest get on waiting lists no matter how deep they are. If you're Team MSRP or Bust, leverage this thread to call on the MSRP dealers and get on their list. You can also pick up the phone and start calling dealerships to find out which ones are MSRP. There are far fewer of them than Honda dealerships so this is light work. If you're highly motivated and enterprising you can call/e-mail them all in one day.

I was able to put down a deposit for MSRP and no dealer add-ons based on the help of this thread, so thank you for sharing this information. Now it's just the waiting game.

FYI:
Briel Acura Wexford told me they closed their books due to high demand but they are MSRP.
Spitzer is MSRP for local buyers and over MSRP for out-of-state buyers. $1000 deposit.

Pohanka Acura is the worst
$1k non-refundable deposit and they will prioritize people who are paying over MSRP, so it's a useless list to be on. AVOID!

A few demos are MSRP, butttt, they are charging full price for the add ons, Key Acura in Jersey was looking for $58350 for theirs....I got another fish on the line for MSRP without the extras, I'll see how this one works out...I kinda like the hunt

haha never had to work so hard for a car, I guess its fun.
Have you checked with Bridgewater Acura? They seem like an enthusiast dealer.

Pleasanton Acura (CA) called me about an ABP/orchid at MSRP (but dealer protection add-ons). I'm surprised since they were prioritizing local buyers, but others ahead passed waiting on other colors...
