Coolant Tank Leak (Canadian members)

My coolant expansion tank failed a week ago at 2500km. I am aware that there are aftermarket options but would like a warranty replacement to keep a stock one in working order (in case I want to go back to stock).

The dealer wrote “car is not safe to drive…..” and the tank is in back ordered (TBA?). I want to ask all fellow Canadian ITS owner with coolant expansion tank leak issue, when and how long did it took the dealership to replace the tank?

I am offered a free rental car until the part arrives but must leave my car at the dealership. Not sure if I should go this route or just park my car.

I was filling washer fluid and noticed bubbling near the back. Also, there’s visible signs of coolant residue around the seam.

Ordered the Mishimoto tank. Will soon be OK once installed.
