Good point! I honestly never considered whether it was a good deal on the item, but curious to see if it's plug & play/functional in the DE5.

I was bummed that we didn’t get those shift lights or a horizontal tach option. Now that I’ve had it a while I find the flashing red tach more than adequate. I’ll still follow along to see if you all get this to work.

Maybe I'm wrong, but this type of swap doesn't seem trivial. I guess that's the point, is to see who is enterprising enough to figure out how to make it work...

I'd be interested to see but unless it also came with an oil temp gauge no way in hell it's worth it to me.

Even the FL5 oil temp gauge is an estimate since it doesn't have a sensor in the pan. Though our pans do have an indentation for one.

some of you are pioneers, would love to see shift lights. It would be worth it if you get the extra R+ gauge
