Looks a lot like austin, havenā€™t seen a blue ITS yet round here.
Same, I still havenā€™t seen any others except a LCM in downtown Houston.

Finally got around to getting the PRL front pipe and RMM installed. The RMM is a noticeable improvement over the stock as thereā€™s not as much wheel hop upon acceleration. I get why folks have been saying itā€™s a worthy upgrade.

Just wanted to jump in the thread and shout out to my fellow Texans, have yet to see one in the wild, live in Allen and work in Richardson. Saw my first Type R on the road Monday in Richardson on the way home from San Antonio (in our MDX). I have not done a lot yet, changed out the shift knob and had tinting done. Discovered there is a clear tint you can apply to the windshield that blocks 99% of the UV, highly recommend because it works great, runs $300 and about to have our MDX done also. Can't quite afford the PPF so having a member on here do the ceramic waxing/graphene to at least do something. Love the car and my first long road trip will be over to Fort Worth on the 27th.

Iā€™ve still yet to see any other ITS around Houston other than 1 a few months ago (a member on here). Was just talking to my wife the other day about wanting to get ceramic tint for the front since this TX heat is getting brutal. Had it on my prior car and it was a game changer. Cheers man!

We did a round trip to San Antonio over this last weekend and my wife drove her MDX and the sun on my knees sucked, think I am going to spend $300 on her instead of my car to get it on there. With the fun predictions for this summer I think it will be necessary.

Havenā€™t really been adding much to this thread.

Since letting go of the black TE37 Ultras, Iā€™ve replaced them with 19ā€ OG Advan GT Premiums in 19x9.5 +35 / 19ā€ TE37 Ultras 19x9.5 +43 and added the OEM carbon mirror caps.

(if you didnā€™t already know, the TEs are for sale ā˜ŗ)

The car is in dire need of a lip spoiler kit, but still waiting to see what options come out that isnā€™t just a splitter.

Got my ceramic tint (Xpel XR Plus) done at Auto Film Specialists in Cypress. All around plus windshield. Kinda expensive but absolutely worth it for this Houston heat.

Shortly after picking up the ITS, I acquired a set of Volk CE28 Club Racer II in 18x9.5 +38 along with some 275/35/18 tires. I was on the fence for a few weeks on whether I wanted to run 18s or stick with 19s since I personally think the car looks better on 19s.

I eventually caved in and went to get the tires mounted and installed on the car after it was lowered and hereā€™s a few pics I snapped upon initial install.

Iā€™m glad I went with the meatier tire setup as it helped fill in the fender wells pretty nicely. No rubbing so far, even on some of the roughest roads here in Houston. Car rides a bit smoother imo, but havenā€™t had too much drive time since mounting.

Love the CE28s, was searching for examples on here of those rocking them and found yours. Saw you aren't rocking them anymore - any reason you decided to move on from it or was it purely aesthetics? From Houston also, sent you a follow on IG!

Only reason I switched wheel setups was because I wanted to run 19ā€ wheels instead of 18s. I felt that 18s look too small on our cars and found someone to trade me their 19ā€ TE37 Ultras at the time so I went ahead and swapped

On the TEs In the pictures I ran 265/30 (OEM Michelins). Iā€™ve also run 265/35 as well but donā€™t have many pics.

For the Advan GTs Iā€™m running 255/35/19

After being at the body shop for 2 months (mainly waiting on back ordered parts), I finally picked my car up over the weekend.

Some changes since I last had the car:
  1. Removed the 18ā€ CE28 Club Racers and replaced with 19ā€ TE37 Ultras (19x9.5 +36)
  2. Installed PRL Intercooler
  3. Re-PPFā€™d front end
  4. Cleared out garage to accommodate both vehicles (so neighbor canā€™t back their car up into any of mine anymore) šŸ¤¬
Iā€™m just excited to have the car back and looking forward to installing a few PRL goodies I accumulated while the car was gone.

Cheers,
Kevin
