Hi folks - new to the Integra crew.

2025 Aspec Tech

It's been cold (CA cold, so 40 degrees :p).

PSI has dipped to 29 all throughout to start the day. Despite that, the front left steer and two rears have no issue - the front right steer started off with the warning light. Visual inspection and no issues. Drove for two days, the light stays on, despite the PSI going up.

Anyone heard of this?

Are you saying that the RF shows a low pressure warning, but the pressure is actually okay? When you start the car, does the light flash a few times before remaining on? That is typically the indication of a faulty TPMS system and needs to be checked.

I had something similar happen when it originally got cold in VB back in December. I had one wheel always show red even though it was within psi range.

My fix:
I let some air out (probably down to around 25) then filled back to the required ~33.
When I pulled out the driveway it was red, and just shrugged it off thinking I’ll take it to the dealer soon anyway for the first maintenance… but within a mile it went away and haven’t had a problem since.

Light does not flash - but yes, you described it spot on.

Thanks - will definitely try this out.

As anyone who lives in cold climates knows ..... tire pressure will fall about 1 PSI for every 10 degree F drop in temperature. So tire pressures must be adjusted with seasonal temperature changes.

Don't know what tires are supplied with the Aspec, but the Integra Type S "summer" tires are not suitable for use at near freezing temperatures, and may even be permanently damaged. I'm guessing that even mid 40 degree F will produce very poor handling performance and should be avoided.

I don't think that summer tire damage is much of a risk until the temps are well below freezing. But yes, grip starts going away well before that. I remember cold track days (mid 40s)when it would take half the session before the tires were good.

I've had track sessions in the low 30's. Grip is definitely an issue for a few laps but they will come up to reasonable temps. Just take it easy. I drive in the 30's in the winter and just take it slow. Haven't had issues with my last 2 cars so far. Either Michelin PS4S or Continental Extreme Contact.

I do try to avoid the 20's though.

Thank you, Internet stranger. This did the trick.

Great to hear… sometimes the old “turn it off and on again” works out.
