Yep, windshield. Thinking back then was "at least it's there so they can't say I'm breaking the law."
Anyway, that stop just felt like she needed something to scold me for since I hadn't been drinking and didn't want to accuse me of all the racket I was making since she had literally 0 proof of...
Just depends on situation. I went 6 years with no issue until I was making a plenty of noise near a university at 3am in OH (while front plate was still a thing) until I was pulled over and warned that windshield doesn't count after the obligatory questions of being under the influence.
I was and still am thoroughly underwhelmed by the "active dampers" on the a-spec. When they are due for replacement they will get deleted by coilovers.
Every factory setting is under sprung over damped. The squat on hard acceleration plus the jarring impacts of road imperfections illustrate...
I got an extended crank rarely and randomly last winter. I'll keep an eye out again as temperatures plummet.
Normal crank is 3-4 revs then fire. Extended was like 6-10 cranks then fire. Not a big difference but I noticed it when it happened.
Just installed mine yesterday. I was in the midst of an android auto fit with the car (again) and it reconnected immediately after the update. Here's to hoping that was the last time.
As annoying as it is when issues like this arise the only outlet is to be the "karen" and make sure that your voice is heard. Nobody likes it but it is necessary.
A bit of anecdotal evidence here: I used to recline a lot. I purchased and installed a 1 piece racing seat in my rx7 and daily drove it like that for 2 years. Since then, I've noticed way less reclining and a much better connection with all vehicles since it forced me and I got used to a more...
I'm 6'1 of leg and have the seat all the way back without issue. I'm struggling to understand how you have an issue reaching the wheel. Are you laying down while driving?
Dont want to ruin your thread with lower models but...I was within 2 days of expiring 45 days temp tags on my aspec before I got the necessary paperwork. Ohio owned bought in Indiana fwiw.
Edit: never looked at the title for details like the mentioned weight. I could probably remember to look...
Don't know if it's been discussed elsewhere, but this thread seemed a perfect fit for today's revelation: factory A-Spec Continentals are a 400 treadwear tire. I saw this while topping my tires off today with the cold weather.
for comparison's sake: The continental extremecontact dws I run on...
I dont want to jinx myself but....I havent felt anything since my first post. Although leaving my driveway I sometimes hear a clunk that I am unsure if it is coming from the brakes or the steering....I will continue my quest for answers.
I have never heard of these tires but after a Google search I am intrigued. I will run the stock conti's to death because I am a cheapass but after that I will keep these in mind. I'm at 7500 miles and have noticed the conti's are not the same as what my former experience with the brand had left...
With the dealer install you are paying for it to be included in your warranty FWIW. If you have a bad seal that starts rusting from your own install you'll have to shell out.
By no means am I justifying dealer labor rates nor dealer pricing in general. Just want to throw the facts out.
