I'm not 100 percent sure but if I'm not mistaken during a slip event the ecu will pull back throttle and ignition timing so maybe the tune was commanding a specific timing but when the slip event happen on Si while on the track the ecu said nope I'm going to do my own thing and somewhere along...
Just watched the video of the ososik civic si tear down. That car was targeting 29psi boost would see 32psi on e85. They made a comment about Honda/Acuras VSA possibly causing the issue because it pulled back timing during a slip event on hard launch. They recommend that people turn off VSA...
I'm loving the way it looks. Now how can I afford this! I gotta play the lotto and scratch offs and keep my fingers crosssed.crossed. i would pick this look over the type r anyday
Yea I got the same flack when I first got it. Most of people that complain about it have never driven it. They kept telling me to get the elantra N. I won't lie the elantra N is quick and fun but I just can't get past the looks on the exterior or interior and my wife (the boss) said there was no...
I still think it's safe to run a tune on this platform. I just don't think you should it's limits. This car already runs hot stock after a few pulls and heat should always be a major concern for stability and reliability when it comes to tuning. I think 21 psi would be the max I would ever push...
Exactly. My bad my grammer was terrible in that post. Posting so fast at work I never proof read. But in response to what your saying, I see alot of people on the youtube comments sort of bashing them but I think that's the OP's fault because they gave little to no info on mods or what really...
And if anybody is watching ososick it was said he was running 32psi of boost which is pretty crazy. So it only makes sense that it was bound to happen. But no need to bash these people because they help teach us that there are limits and help us get a better understanding of what they are on...
Not my motor but came across this video that looks a bit scary. People are saying in the comments it was pushing 26psi which is insane but yea check it out
OK so I recently installed the car hood lights and I tapped into the fuse box inside the engine bay. My only issue is that when I turn the car off the lights stay on unless I use the ir remote to turn it off. Now in past cars it has always been that if the fuse amperage is in ( ) then it usually...
If you looking to add a little kick to the car then a tune is the way to go. If you want worry free plug and play then the 18psi map is ideal but I suggest going into quick adjustments and changing the boost target ramp rate to at least improved level 1 and boost responsiveness to level 2.
You know, nobody is really reviewing a base model integra with the 17inch rims to see if there is some type of performance difference. Anybody with a base model want to give it go
Yea I agree, full rip they all feel the same. I'm pretty sure that gen si is faster 0-60 consistently. On the highwY might be different
At 7.3 secs which is almost a full second slower than the integra, a difference can be felt. My uncle has an all black 2011 si. His first impression of the...
Will you notice the difference in power? Short answer... Yes. I mean the integra isn't slow and it does a good job when tested on the highway but after doing my own 40-80 tests not only on the integra but friends cars I have recently tested I feel that anything past .05 seconds faster 40-80...
I couldn't find any data on an e350 but they did have data kn a e450. This is 40-80 runs that demonstrate real world performance.
I made a little stitch show casing the difference. 6.4 integra, 5.9 mercedes 2013 e350(302hp,279lbs of tq(only video I could find lol) not sure what year you had.
