I installed it on my A-Spec. Fit and finish are excellent. Everything went smoothly and each part is well-constructed. It clearly helps with breathing. Very pleased with the turbo sound. Throttle response is improved. Hasn't thrown a single code. Looks factory when it's installed. Zero issues at...
I'd been eyeballing various front lip kits and came across the V1 on eBay. Reviews were favorable, so I took a chance on it. The 3-piece kit arrived with some nice gloss black paint and was packaged very well. Arrived in perfect shape with zero scuffs or scratches in about 4 days. What I liked...
Hi, all -
Picked up a dreaded puncture on my way home from work yesterday. Luckily, I was able to limp to my local trusted shop, as I was close by. I have become accustomed to using run-flats on my cars and have come to enjoy the peace of mind with them. Lots of bad luck around here with...
I think expectations are a huge piece to all of this. Even my 330i M-Sport had rattles and creaks. Went into my Integra and expected that, if I had the above with the Bimmer, I'd probably have it with the Integra. Most satisfying part for me is that I don't miss the Bimmer.
Yup. Found it through Max and Motortrend. It's such a shame that it was canceled. I would have loved multiple seasons and think many others would have probably felt the same.
I don't mean to resurrect an old thread here, but we started watching this earlier in the week after never catching it. I've enjoyed it very much, and there is a lot of rich history and technical know-how. Can't recommend it enough for those who haven't seen it.
I haven't seen much out there aside from the PRL. Given that it's a direct bolt-on, that's the route I have been considering going due to the direct fitment. In the past, I used Mishimoto intercoolers. Great quality. However, the issue there was that the universal fitment meant cutting and...
Thanks for the response. What you bring up is fair. Yes, theoretically throttle controllers are piggy-back units intercepting and manipulating signals. What I should have said is that I am distrustful of piggybacks that trick boost when he mentioned power-adders. That's where my confusion came...
I am also distrustful of piggy-back units and how they manipulate data and components. I agree with you there. Had he installed a piggy-back unit or a throttle controller?
Surprises me that, if it was a throttle controller, it would lead to a fried ECM.
I actually left BMW (330i M-Sport), traded it in, and got into my Integra. I wasn't happy with the car, the dealership, the service department, etc. I've owned many cars, and have found that even the higher-end ones (my S3, RS3, the BMW) all had major issues, as well. Electrical, mechanical...
I've found the same. Some things I've wanted have been hard to come by or have required a wait. For that reason I outsourced my PRL intake to Pro Import Tuners. Showed up in four days.
I'd been eyeing strut tower braces to hopefully tighten up the front, and ended up grabbing the Sirimoto Phase 2 on sale from Pro Import Tuners. Packaged with care, arrived fast, and in excellent shape.
It's beefy and well-constructed. I really like the electric red brackets. It gives just a...
