In VA ........ if the car comes with a bag and it is not there ....... no pass.
Damn that kinda sucks. Well good thing it's a quick install. For the airbags disconnect battery and disassemble. It's like 10-15 from a fresh install minus the time to program buttons to your liking.

You are exactly right. You could basically uninstall then install back after inspection. That's why I am always thinking about it ......... ;-)

Did you notice any change in steering feel? I'm considering going this route too.
Only thing is you gotta get used to the aggressive flat bottom. Steering feel and input is kinda the same except the wheel is a bit thinner all around. I'm sure you'll get used to it after a drive or two

True for many states with inspections. In my state a chip or crack in your windshield in line of site automatically fails you. Wipers with cracked rubber too.

Chances are in an accident insurance will deny you coverage for removing airbags as well.
