Anyone installed Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4 265/35ZR19/XL on OEM wheels?

Hi,

Anyone installed Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4 265/35ZR19/XL on OEM wheels and can share driving experience?

I saw many posts about Continental DWS06 on EOM wheels (and other variations with 18" wheels), but I am curious about Michelin with a different size.

I think there's also an option for 255/30 for A/S4s, but personally I went with DWS06 to maintain the OEM sizes. I've had both on other cars and couldn't tell you which one performed better, especially considering I don't ask nearly as much out of my all-seasons as I do out of my summer tires as I don't do track or autocross stuff on all-seasons.

It doesn't make much sense to me to change sizes while the Continentals are an available option.

I know mine is just an ASpec, but I put Michelin PilotSport 4 AS in the stock size and new wheels. The tires are awesome! I had them on my lowered RDX for the years I owned that carl

Would you recommend sticking with the 235/40r18 for the dws06+ or would 245/40 or 245/35 work equally as well for the ASpec stock wheels? Needing to replace mine this spring

I have the MPSAS4 in 255/35-19, on the stock wheels. I've been happy with them in dry and wet, but have not driven them in snow. I've been a fan of them (and the MPSAS3+) on other cars.

I should have gone with the 245/35 and wider wheels. Since I bought 8.5 wheels the wider tire wasn’t allowed.

Since you're asking for a Type S I recommend sticking with the 265/30/19 to keep the same driving dynamics as stock.

I've been very impressed with the Continental DWS06+ on my FL5 with Type S wheels for the winter.

These cars are so well-engineered from the factory that I noticed a pretty big difference swapping to 18" wheels. I think you'll experience something similar swapping to 35 series tires.

I have 265 35 19's AS4's on my ITS and they have been awesome... not as sticky as the stock tires but thats to be expected. I like the feel when hitting bumps etc with them more because with the bigger sidewall of the tire i dont worry as much about damaging a wheel. I've had them on the dragon multiple times this winter and have done fine. No rubbing at all or any issues. at highway speeds (70-80) speedo is off about 4 mph. I have almost 3k on the tires now.

I didn't think the MPSAS4 in 265/30/19 were an option.
I just checked the Michelin website and don't see that size listed as being made for the MPSAS4.

You are right I have 265 35 19 not 265 30 19

Thank you for clarifying. Glad to hear that the 265/35/19s have no rubbing issues. I’ll probably do that as well and go with the Michelin pilot all seasons 35s rather than the Conti all seasons. Do you use the same air pressures?

I change pressures alot... had em at 40 psi for some longer road trips... had em down to 35 / 33 for spirited driving around the dragon. No issues... I've had em on for almost 5k miles so far and happy with them. At 80mph with those tires GPS says I'm actually doing 84mph so heads up there
