This is funny to me. I don’t like adaptive cruise because it slows down right as I’m about to change lanes, lets people in ahead of me and then slows down, etc. I think I happened upon this maybe by accident soon after getting my ITS. My wife’s 2019 rdx is the family road trip vehicle and I am the family road trip driver so I’ve logged thousands of highway miles being annoyed by her ACC, unaware that I could switch it to good old dumb cruise control. Soon as I found it on the ITS I went to her car and found I could do the same. Was a great moment, but was annoyed I didn’t figure it out 5 years prior.

Very happy to learn we have dumb cruise control. Agree with everything you said about ACC. I only like adaptive when stuck in traffic on a 2 lane hwy.

This is a great point I’d never thought about. I’m rarely on a 2 lane highway long enough to use CC, but if I am, I’ll swap back to ACC. Thanks for the tip!
