Engine sound upon cold start. Is this “normal”?

For some reason I can’t post a video here. But does anybody else’s Integra make a “whooshing” sound from the engine when starting the car for the first time of the day?

Acura Service told me the sound was “normal”, even though the loaner car they gave me is an Integra base model and it hasn’t done this the past 2 days.
Not sure what to do since they’re releasing the vehicle back to me

You can just save the audio file and upload

Would need to hear the sound. But you might be hearing the air injection pump. Which activate during cold starts, it’s an emissions thing. Forces more air into the engine to get it to run more “emissions friendly” during cold starts

It doesn't sound out of the ordinary to me.

Yup, does sound like you’re hearing the air injection pumps, they turn off shortly after in a minute or 2. Completely normal, and an emissions related item (if you live in an emissions state). Worry down the road when you don’t hear them and you have a check engine light for them cause they’re usually PRICEY.
