Great, thanks for that. Now we just have to figure out how to get that integrated into the OEM software. The link says the control module will plug into the Infotainment host. I'm willing to be a guinea pig and try this.

Yeah. I'm thinking of grabbing it since I also bought folding mirrors. Figure if I can install the cameras in those while I'm waiting for my LCM.

Also message me for a discount code..

So the civic front camera mounts in the Honda logo. We could potentially use it but we would have to invert 180. Even if you could invert the image the camera would be pointed up instead of down.

Where does the MDX mount it's front camera? In the Acura logo or grill?

I might just do the side cameras. These I would use a ton since I park on the street and at night I cant see out of the side mirrors since our backup lights are pitiful.

I like the idea of adding a camera (especially as you stated if you are street parking) but it might be easier to add a cheap radar based distance detector for those worried about parking blocks upfront. The biggest issue is finding one that actually works and doesn't drive you insane with constant beeping... My Audi is terrified of the mint plant next to my garage...

This store is awesome! I spent some hours on there already after you shared it a while back & picked up a few things. Will definitely be checking back.
Haha. I just ordered the dash cam for $115 shipped with the dome light connection.
It's the same as the Amazon one that $170

Wonder if there is a way to add a front camera. . .what other Acura/Honda models have that as an option? I parked yesterday and I stopped where I felt was CLOSE. Got out and checked and I was like 4 feet away. Ive been daily driving a Nissan Frontier for the past 10 years, so curbs are never an issue. I know where to stop in my 300ZX, but it will take some time to figure out the "safe" zone for the ITS.
Can this be done???

Can you provide a link to the dash cam and connector? Thanks!
https://mikstoreph.com/products/civic-2022-oem-fit-4k-dashcam?_pos=2&_sid=c593aefd8&_ss=r

Here is the main unit. If you select the drop down where the car model is the last item on the list is the dome light plugin

I used (Project717) code for a discount

Same as FitCamX and I used that app to connect and view it.

Thanks. This is a good deal and I was considering FitcamX or the Viofo A119 mini 2. It does look exactly like the FitcamX and Mikstore even uses the FitcamX footage as an example. Did it arrive in a FitcamX box with their documentation?

I honestly don't remember. The unit was identified via the fitcamx app as one of two compatible models.

For my 6 foot 185lb frame, if I align the bottom of the mirror with the leading edge of the curb next to where I’m parking (works on both sides) it puts me about 6” from the curb. Clearly won’t work for everybody.
