Bought my ITS used with 2700 miles on it and when I filled it up the fuel range typically showed around 275. Over the weekend I installed the PRL HVI and as such disconnected the battery. Had about a half tank of gas, don't remember where the range was at the time but when I installed the battery after the mod the range showed around 225 which was high for half a tank. Just went and filled it up and now it is showing a range of 390 for a full tank. Do I just have to use several tanks for a reset to get back where I was?? Confused.....

Yes, I think it's like self learning based on usage. It will recalibrate itself over the next few fill ups.

I remember after my first track days, the range dropped to like 175 miles on a full tank. LOL. It slowly corrected itself over time.

I gained 2 mpgs after installing a k&n intake. I get 44 mpgs and when I fill up the suggested range is 500 miles which i never get.

You set the "per tank" range calculator in the settings. I recall the options were "Lifetime" or "at startup" or something to that effect. The lifetime average vs average calculated at startup based off of the previous drive.
