I am contemplating a switch to ITS and wonder if this is a good time to buy.
I am not seeing any 2024 models for sale anymore, I guess they have all been sold already. I will not pay above MSRP, even though I am in the Bay Area. It seems that small discounts can be had if shopping carefully. It seems Acura Fremont is a good place to start.
Any suggestion appreciated.

Search countrywide on cars.com and pit a variety dealers against each other when negotiating. Don’t rule out traveling to purchase one.

California seems to be high on the list of locations that does not like to negotiate on Civic Type-R or Type-S vehicles.

I live in WI but purchased my ITS in Illinois.

Bought mine 3 weeks ago in Fremont-Pacific Commons. Alex the sales dude is super cool. Let me warn you though. Watch out for the Finance guy when he upsells you the warranties. Lol. I just wished I opted out on some the stuff he was saying. Good luck!

Statistically end of month is best and end of year can be better *IF* the dealership is close but hasn't achieved their yearly sales targets. They might throw a bone or two your way as they attempt to meet their sales goals.

Best chances for them to play ball is if you show up. Find one where others have had good luck and show up.

It's a lot easier for these sales people to say no to the multitude of tire kickers they get calls/emails from everyday.

ETA: I picked mine up in February when MSRP was harder to get and got mine at MSRP (they took off the $5k markup) in the Los Angeles area...Glendale to be exact.

Do what I did. I searched for a 2024 as all the lots had 2025’s. I got mine for 5k under sticker. After taxes and fees OTD was 52,5. Bought 11/26/24. Dealers can’t sell cars right now. Do NOT pay MSRP. I waited an entire year for these price drops.
