I read they have to keep it for at least 30 daysThey said would be about 20 miles of total drive time. Agree, could be a hard 20 miles, albeit my current car was a rental for 2 years before I got it, and no major issues 12 years later.
I can say that as my current car is a Performance Red Pearl TLX, it’s my primary color choice if I get an ITS.I'd be up for that! I'm leaning toward White/Ebony or White/Red, but my son loves Performance Red and Tiger Eye has really grown on me--what about you?
Red is high on my list too. How does it usually look compared to your profile picture? I like the shade of red on there, but I'm worried it could look more bright and washed out in the sunlight. If Acura's red was more like Mazda's red, I would choose it in a heartbeat.I can say that as my current car is a Performance Red Pearl TLX, it’s my primary color choice if I get an ITS.
It’s a pretty rare color, and when the car is clean and the sun is out, it looks like it’s glowing.
The Photo Shop renders someone did on here sealed the deal for me. I don’t mind Liquid Carbon Metallic, but it’s just another grey car out there.
These photos do a pretty good job of capturing what it looks like. In person, it looks incredible, especially with the black accents from the A-Spec/Type-S, so it’ll look great on the ITS with all the black accents.Red is high on my list too. Yeah, I referenced that in my original post. Just a few miles a day is a tough duty cycle for an engine, methinks.I read they have to keep it for at least 30 days
Looks great! I'm honestly a little disappointed with the red interior option on the Integra Type S. Was originally thinking I'd do a monochrome exterior color with red interior, but now that I'm leaning towards the black interior, I figure I might as well consider a bolder exterior color like Apex Blue or Performance Red.These photos do a pretty good job of capturing what it looks like. I’d say it’s pretty close to Mazda’s Crystal Soul Red, although I’ve not parked next to one to compare.

Valid points. Reality is that people value different things and can’t make everyone happy every time. Personally, sunroof take up headroom for a helmet so that’s why I’m against them. My favorite seats are manual bc they’re so much faster (my wife is 5’4” and I’m 6’3” and our memory seats take forever lol). Rear seat vents are nice for the kids but it’s a small car so they’ll live.As we should be. $50k is a lot of money to spend on a car.
We’re looking at what will be a $50k+ out the door that doesn’t have a sunroof, memory seat, rear air vents, rear USB, rear armrest, cooled seats, heated steering wheel, etc.
On one hand, I love the way the car looks, and know that the powertrain will be great. On the other hand, I look at all the basic features missing and think to myself, “do I really want to give up all those features, and more, that I have in my current car?”.
We’ll need to wait until the driving reviews start coming out. Obviously a number of them will just be positive hype videos, but I’m hoping there will be a few that look at car not through rose colored glasses, and offer their legitimate thoughts on the car and it’s value.
Very true. I can live with almost everything but the missing seat. Luckily there is a fix for thatValid points. Reality is that people value different things and can’t make everyone happy every time. getting those features would be nicebut I want this car for a fun daily..if I wanted more bells and whistles I guess I wouldn’t be looking at a hot-hatch type of car.
may I’m tolerant bc my GT4 wasn’t even available with keyless entry (that a 2009 Nissan Altima had standard!!) and doesn’t have wireless CarPlay, rear seats at all, a sunroof or power seats. I know that’s a specialized car but the ITS also wasn’t meant to be a plush daily. Performance & fun >> creature comforts. If they started adding all of those other features I think the price would definitely climb to an “unacceptable” level.
Ultimately — sorry some of y’all didn’t get everything you were hoping for! Maybe get the ITS and get another car loaded with the other desired features?
well golf R has rear vents, usb ports, ventilated seats and customizable ambient lights. Pretty much everything you expect for a near 50k car to have, I don’t think it’s unreasonable to expect these feature.Valid points. then get a golf R. I’d argue that the Golf R makes up for other engineering shortcomings by adding these things. id get it if I didn’t already own a gti. I want something different. I’m not 100% sold on the car, maybe just keep the gti.then get a golf R. I’d argue that the Golf R makes up for other engineering shortcomings by adding these things. But yes.. for some folks, that will be the way to go!
