How does the reservation process work? Do the dealers honor MSRP? What about b.s. add one fees and mandatory b.s. packages?
seems like more Acura dealerships honor the MSRP than Honda. But I’m sure some still feel that “all is fair in love and war”.

call around and don’t waste your time with people playing games. Also, I’ve had pretty good luck with the internet sales managers. They seem to be more seasoned and direct when it comes to car sales in general.

good luck!

I just hope the seats are better than the A-Spec. My boney butt gets sore in drives longer than 1h. Doesn't happen in any other car I own, (M2cs, x3)
i've never driven an M2, much less an M2CS, but i really liked the seats in my F80 M3s i had. just the right amount of bolstering and support. That new M2 seems like a good car but i suspect you'll hold onto that M2CS .... forever?! that's probably pretty close to peak modern BMW for fun factor.

back on topic - i haven't spent much time in an ASpec seat except showroom. They seem a little different than my Si and i've heard folks say they prefer the Si due to, as you suggest, very flimsy (?) Aspec seats. i guess i'll hold my judgement. If i hate them THAT much but love the car otherwise, maybe some aftermarket adjustable track-ish seats might be in order.

it doesn't say if it's rear wheel drive, or front wheel or 4 wheel.

the prve. intergra is rear wheel, just doesn't cut it in winter driving in North America. Impractical

They don't mention if the vehicle is fully assembled. I think you build it yourself in any configuration you want.

It's front wheel drive. Same platform as the Civic Type-R

So what are people’s thoughts on the likelihood that you can install the heated steering wheel from the base Integra on the Type S?

Looking at the Honda install guide, you have to swap out the clock spring on the steering column and they give you a new wiring harness to install.

I’ve really enjoyed having a heated steering wheel in my current car this past winter, and would love to install one on the ITS if at all possible, even though it’s not an official accessory for the ITS.

yup, def holding on to it forever. Can’t see myself ever selling, you’re right that it’s peak BMW. The seats are very similar to those on the F80, greats seats

on the Integra seats, they are ok at best. Prob the biggest let down of the car, was disappointed the ITS didn’t drastically improve them. Maybe the better cushions will be enough but we’ll see

Do you happen to remember where you found this photo? I can't seem to find any of the Type-S in Performance Red. Now that I'm really looking, I'm wondering if it could be a Photoshop job on one of the other colors, but hoping to see more in red, if possible. Thanks!

Looking at the shading/discrepancy in the color, this is just a photoshop of the official photo of the blue car in profile.

Having said that,Acura said the Type-S would have 7 colors in the USA (white, black, silver, liquid carbon, blue, red, and tiger eye). The red is apparently not available in Canada, as they only get 6 colors (hey also don’t get the Orchid interior option).

My preferred Spec would be an ITS in Performance Red Pearl with the Orchid interior. I live the PRP color on my current TLX, it looks so good.

I'm leaning toward Performance Red as well! But I'd go the Ebony route for interior. I like the A-Spec + Tech's red interior with the Platinum White Pearl exterior, and I'd gladly get it again, but the Type-S red seats just have too much black from what they've shown so far. Also, my son (the big reason I won't do Orchid) insists red cars are "fast cars", so I suppose I'm succumbing to peer pressure here.

I am hoping to get the Lunar Silver with red interior so I can get the MANDO license plate.
