It's insane how much hate there is in the car community. So many children who base their entire personalities on knowing how to drive manual, not to enjoy them, but bash anyone with anything else. Somehow it makes them more "masculine." The type to get off to changing their own oil.

Yes this is the worst and probably my least favorite thing about being "into cars". God forbid someone has different priorities in a car than you do. I appreciate the rare person who has a sense of humor (or even basic lightheartedness!) about the car(s) they own.

Or, just maybe, it's just a personality thing. I like pretty much all cars. People, not so much.

Wow! I just read all that……. I’ll see how bad the fourm humans feel about my words .

I didn’t cross shop any other cars, I’d been looking for a fun manual car to show the kids what cars used to be over this electric stuff they’ve become used too. Plus I wanted a toy car. That ITS promo video was sent to me by a buddy and it was like they built a car just for me, (You know the dude In his 40s with kids). Going to soccer practice feeling like I’m 20 again has been great!

but like everybody else says, its not a fast car out the lights.. high revs tight twisty top 2nd is pretty special place with the levels of grip and agility ! It’s Aweosome. Open B roads 3rd is a wonderful place, can still hear some exhaust with windows down. Once you’re in 4th to red and up she’s pretty quiet but she keeps pulling…….

It ticked all the boxes for me.

I ended up getting a Type R as my FL5 allocation unexpectedly became available to me. However, I think the ITS will always be “cool” to car people, even at car meets frequented by owners of much more expensive cars. There’s really nothing else like the CTR and ITS with their combination of practicality, performance, and top-tier manual transmissions.
