Lemon Law, might need some help?

I am also considering lemon law pursuit in FL. I was unfortunately hit by someone at slow speed making an unsafe turn in front of my right of way that resulted in substantial front end damage to my Type-S. I have now been waiting for two months for a body part to complete repair with no real end in sight after the latest missed ETA! Does anyone know if this kind of thing qualifies for lemon law replacement of the car? It's still only about a 8 month old 2024 model at this point.

Lemon law applies to vehicle defects. You'd have a case if they keep sending a defective body panel, but not lack of shipment.

Unfortunately you're mostly dealing with insurance on this, and you can negotiate with them over time to replace components vs rental costs while your car still has no eta in sight. They might agree to scrap it and sue the other driver/insurance. All depends on your state and laws as well. If your agent is independent I would ask them on next steps. If they're not, I'd skip to a lawyer and ask next steps.

alright, so I have an update to everyone, got my car looked at by an acura tech sent from corporate and they stated that my car was fine and nothing needs to be filed. this happened on november 7th and I wanted to wait a good amount of time to make sure things were perfectly fine with the vehicle.

Fast forward to friday, december 13th. New issue, cars' TPMS system has a problem. doesn't read any of the tires psi levels. it came up as i was driving home from work and thought crap not again. I've been driving it regularly since it is my mode of transportation. it goes and comes but everyday now it flashes and "service warning" to take the car back to the dealer.

at this point of ownership with this vehicle, i no longer want it anymore and just wanna get out of it. (had the car since august 2023) any thoughts would be appreciated

I had this problem. Also, all I can tell you is it got real easy after I skipped the technician and went to go look for the manager of the service department. I took it in four times before they fixed it and after the second time I just committed to keep bringing it back over and over until they figure it out Like I said I had the same frustration almost since it was brand new, and it wasn’t fixed primarily because I was so busy going to work and using it every day but I think at about seven or 8000 miles they finally fixed it at which point I figured out I was missing out on all the burbles and cracks and pops That I hadn’t heard since brand new. Because when the car gets those errors, even though it clears out after a while, what doesn’t clear out is the actual error so you never ever hear the exhaust the way it’s supposed to hear and who knows it probably doesn’t even drive correctly. I found that out only after they fix it.

I did finally receive the part and got my car back in what looks like very good shape so far. It took nearly 4 months. Acura definitely has a parts supply problem.

Glad to hear they got you sorted at least!

Be glad you're not in a tesla where they tell you to go buy aftermarket or go pound sand when you need a part .
