Loud pop/click noise from fuel door latch/actuator

Has anyone noticed a noticeable click/pop noise from the fuel door when locking/unlocking?

just got my integra few days ago and already facing some concerns hoping to get some help from yall!

It’s the lock for the fuel door. When the car is locked, the fuel door is locked.

Figured I'd revitalize this thread rather than starting a new one.

I also noticed this "pop" when locking the car and I agree it's the lock for the fuel door. However, the noise is almost unsettling. Has anyone else noticed this to the point where it just seems excessive? I'm in Ohio so I am sure the cold weather isn't helping but I'm also curious if there is something wrong with the actuator itself or the alignment of the latch?

It's loud enough that it bothered me for the first month of ownership. I don't even notice it anymore

I just picked up my new Integra and thought maybe the fuel door had an issue. Mine is also noticeably loud (I thought it was the lock on the hatch opening at first, lol). If it is normal then it's one less thing to worry about, lol. I just wanted to be sure.

I actually had been thinking it was the hatch. Which was always confusing because it's electronic, but hearing that it's the fuel door makes much more sense. It is definitely very loud for what it is, but I don't think it's anything to be concerned about for now.
