Oil Change Interval - 2023 A-Spec Manual

I purchased my Integra A-Spec 6sp manual last October 2022. It now has 2,860 miles. The oil life is at 50%. Should I service it anyway due to the length of time? Will the engine oil still provide protection after 7 - 8 months? Thanks.

I believe the manual says to change the oil if it doesn’t tell you to after 12 months

I've always used the rule 5k miles or 6 months.
Oil is a lot cheaper than a motor.
