Hi all,

for the guys running the prl motor mounts, how has your experience been? Thinking of putting it on my type s and was curious if it helps with making gear changes slightly less jerky

PRL motor mount is great. In hindsight, I wouldn’t mind have trying out the 27won also. Now with the front pipe installed, it will be kind of a pain to redo due to the way the front bolt is facing. From my experience, the best parts that have helped with the shifting is the spoon rigid collars by far.

I have PRL RMM and Rigid Collars waiting to install. Posts like these are motivation to get them done already!

The collars really do make it feel just extraordinarily tight in a good way - not too tight or rigid. Makes you feel one with the car so much more. Probably the best upgrade for just daily drivability in general.

Standard FL5 set of rigid collars works for DE5, with no issues?
Yes. I bought from Black Hawk Japan for $288 shipped. Think it took two weeks. Way cheaper than the $460 US vendors are charging.

Do you have the rigid collars on both front and rear or just front?

Any chance you could help me with a part number?

Would these work for the ASpec as well you think?
