Curious to know wtf you did with the stock exhaust after you replace it with an aftermarket one; it's like 10' long. I can't even load it in the car and take it back home, just left it at the shop for now. lol

I'll ask what did you replace the OEM one with and does it sound better?

Last two times I’ve swapped out the exhaust, I just let the shop have it.

You could toss it up in the rafters or the attic maybe? It would come in handy come time to sell the car and you can sell the aftermarket exhaust for extra cash too. I just don’t have the space in my house for it though.

Curious about the MBRP exhaust, saw it a while back on FL5 and it had 2 tip exhaust when they first released it. looks like it has 3 tips for the DE5 model. It says catback so I am assuming it will replace the front pipe and connects directly to the downpipe?

I think so.

Just a suggestion...

You can cut it in half and store it. I've done that plenty of times with other cars. It's a simple weld when you reinstall it.

You will probably need it whenever you end up selling your car. Plus, if you reinstall the stock exhaust whenever you get rid of the ITS you can sell the MBPR and get at least 50%+ of your money back. You can usually get top dollar for used exhaust setups.

I stored exhaust on my patio roof for 5 years, moved and trashed it lol. If you want to keep it ask them to chop it in half.

I wrapped the ends in garage bag. It was totally fine and clean when I trashed it.

come to think of it, kind of makes sense considering these would otherwise just be exposed to the elements outside anyway.
