Thinking about not driving my teg when the snow starts flying. Just leave it in my garage (unheated). Any suggestions on what I should do? Like maybe put some Seafoam in the gas tank or something?

Been storing my Miata during the winters for 15 years. I just fill the tank, add some Stabil and put the battery on a tender. I leave the window open a bit and run a dehumidifier in the garage. Lots of mouse traps around the car.

I use to have a boat and I stored it in a barn with no heat or electricity. To keep the moisture down I’d get a bucket of DampRid.

How "particular" are you about keeping it in the best shape possible.

If your just generally wanting to keep it in better condition than winter driving it, Mr. LargeCoffee's suggestions are more than enough. Bring a trailer type level, there's much more to do.

turn recirculate on before shutting the car off. this closes the outside intake vent so rodents will have a harder time getting in.

I also had wasps (wtf?) eat the foam cover on my hpfp. they used it to build a nest on my dad's engine (lol). I put a couple Little Trees Pine scent air fresheners on the front shock mounts. Once the smell wore off, i just sprayed peppermint oil on the air fresheners. Haven't had a problem with insects/rodents since doing that. also, the engine bay smells nice.

put a bucket of Damprid in the car if you live in a humid area. i've read lots of stories of people coming back to their car after several months and the entire car is covered in mold. so make sure everything is dry.

You could also put some Stabil or Startron in the gas tank.
