Trunk hatch doesn't open very quickly...

Wanted to reopen this thread. I also own an Integra Type S, however, I recently installed the APR GTC-300 wing, and my hatch will not stay open in cold environments. Having the benefit of working for Honda R&D, I was able to do some internal research and found that the base civic hatch has struts rated at 625N, which is maybe a good medium compared to the Type R's 700N. Also the base civic hatch part is similar price to the Integra part, not double like the Type R part.

That being said, I ordered a set, and plan to install. I am thinking that the 625N will be perfect for my use case.

FWIW - these work perfect, the trunk opens on its own and it's not hard to close
