No need to be dick but it shows what kind of person you are. Who says that he will sell the car next year? He might keep it forever. Those are all very high quality mods from reputable brands. Theres nothing wrong with a automatic.

I agree and It’s all love. Whether you have a Base, A-Spec or Type S the Integra is back and that’s dope! Different builds or stock, we have a dope car that’s fun! I’m on the other Integra forum but unfortunately no one interacts.

Sharing build information for someone who buys a 2023 model in 5 years and visits this forum is the goal. I definitely want to pass this car down to my kid and get the Type S.

I’ve wanted it; looks and sounds awesome. I wish there was a new diffuser for one outlet but still looks great. Not too many diffuser options out there

I know man a diffuser with a single exit would be perfect. I know the civic has a bumper option to converts theirs into a single for the diffuser. I can reach out to Epsilon Aerodynamics to see if they can make one.

Happy Holidays everyone,

I was looking into my KTuner V2 options and I noticed a few things that can help our DE4 model a bit better.

When I loaded up my Phearable 1.5T tune into the KTuner program I noticed the options on the left, but the one to focus on here is called "Quick Enables".

There are 2 options that are super rad and will make the car even better.

*Early Spool: "starts the turbo spooling process sooner than factory adding additional low end and mid-range. It greatly improves overall drivability" per KTuner's website.

*Disable Idle Stop/Start: This is straight forward and I can confirm it removes the feature from the DE4. To verify I pressed the Start/Stop button on the console and it is disabled and does nothing. I drove around in comfort mode and it did not engage. Awesome

I "saved" a copy of the updated Phearable Tune and renamed it so it is easy to distinguish in the Tune Folder I created on my Laptop. I uploaded it onto KTuner V2 and the results are perfect!

The Early Spool option woke up the 1.5T more and the Low/Mid range is way better in terms of response and power. The Turbo spool engages quicker and the Whoosh is nice.

I did notice the Tune Menu option called "Quick Boost by Gear" and it appears we can really drill down to truly customize the PSI, but I am honestly not sure I want to experiment with these settings. Has anyone tried?

Hey Everyone,

First off I want to give a HUGE shoutout to @J_Too_Fade for his post about installing the Type S Hood onto our DE4 models!

My OEM Type S Hood arrived and I installed it myself today. Type S (Left) and OEM DE4 Hood (Right). It cost me roughly $1300 shipped for all the parts from Acura Parts Warehouse. It took about 3 weeks to arrive after placing the order. They were on backorder from Acura at the time.

The Hood is very lightweight and definitely an easy job to do. The hardest part is the alignment of the hood. It took me about 45 minutes to complete.

If you are going to do this install by yourself, I recommend putting some type of cushion at the mounts to ensure the OEM hood you are removing does not scratch the paint. I used my car washing mitts shown in the photo below.

I used the Hood stand to help with the weight when installing the 4 bolts. Once the bolts are fastened lightly (Do not tighten and do not lower the hood) you can align the hood as best as possible. This process took the longest so take your time.

The fit is perfect once it is aligned. I might take it to the Dealership just to see if they can align it better. The Hood latch lined up and there were no issues when I closed the Hood.

I am definitely happy with this upgrade. Now I just need to get it painted.

Are you going to simply paint match? Any plans for a wrap or custom piece for the vent (Jogan carbon, etc)?

I am thinking of possibly painting the entire car something different. I am going to my local paint shop and ask tomorrow how much to paint match to see if it’s worth it or just do the whole car in a few months
