Any chance we see some reviews before the pre order date? Would be nice to know differences in behavior vs the CTR before putting down a deposit.

Some initial launch coverage claims the suspension would be tuned a bit more toward comfort, and I'm curious to learn about differences in on-street and at-the-limit dynamics.

No, not until June. I remember with the regular integra, media reviews didn’t come out until cars were already showing up at dealers. I bet it’ll be the same situation here

I have a YouTube page (Integra Life) ready to go for after it drops for personal reviews/opinions/etc. but that’s about it. It will compliment & take over my Jeep Life page which is still in its infancy stage as I’m just trying to sell it.

I’m looking for more content everyday, so if I see anything by anyone else I’ll post it here.

Yeah I think there are still a bunch of unanswered questions we'd all like to know- but I don't think we'll see any formal reviews for several weeks. Almost certainly not before Thursday- especially if the recent launch of the BMW G87 M2 is any indication. Embargo wasn't lifted until a day or so after people started taking deliveries.

I feel like these first 200 units that are up for grabs on Thursday remind me of when the PS5 or RTX 3080 graphics cards dropped during the pandemic. It may be pretty hopeless "normal people" can get their hands on them anyway, and the limited color combos and information probably won't be enough of a deterrent for them to be snapped up very quickly... I don't think I"m going to engage at all but wouldn't judge if people had their F5 buttons at the ready at 1 EDT May 11.

It’s honestly kind of frustrating….I’ve had my deposit in for the ITS since last June, assuming it would come out. Now I have to scramble and hope for the best on the 11th….

What I don’t understand is how will it work if 75 people are working on the same transaction at the same time. Will you get to the end of the reservation process and it be like “oops, you weren’t fast enough”??….

I think so, yes. At least that's where my uneducated expectation would be. Only 200 nationwide is an insanely small amount if you think about it.

My local dealers have no idea how it will work beyond "load the page, pick us as your dealer and make a deposit." Probably going to be pretty messy. Good news is, any direct dealership orders will still be fulfilled for every allocation beyond the first 200 vehicles.

manufactured scarcity to max the hype around the launch. there will be articles for sure if not driving impressions.

You only have to if you want one of the first 200. Otherwise keep your deposit at your dealer for one of theirs.

I want asap, tired of driving my minivan lol
It’s only a difference of like a week. The 200 come out slightly early.

How do you know? My dealer said 200 disbursement will take like 2/3 months and I won’t see a car likely until August….

I had assumed on sale in June means they are arriving in dealerships by then.
It's made in the states too. less logistics issues if any and a lot faster delivery to dealers.

It doesn’t take the plant months to make 200 cars. Based on sold units, the make at least 1000 integras a month. Plus other models. Once they’re built it only takes 10-14 days to get to the dealer.

Also Acura said on sale next month. That’s June. Meaning non preorder 200 units will be out next month. This release is different than others Acura has done. Dealers got their allocations a few weeks ago and placed color orders. Those will be in next month. The 200 just comes out before the launch. So like a week early.

Try to get a 200 one. If not don’t sweat it. There will be plenty of ITS’ to go around. It’s not a limited production model and made in OH. By the end of the year dealers will have 2+ sitting just like they have MDX-S and TLX-S now.

On a similar note. Don’t pay ADM on this car. Some dealers are trying to take advantage of the CTR’s low production and trick people into thinking this is the same. I’ve already seen it. Dealers saying things like “this car is super rare” or “there is massive demand for this car”

Neither are true. WE see demand because we are on an Integra forum lol. But since Acura over priced it, they won’t be getting ANY cross shoppers. NO ONE from Audi, MB, BMW, etc will get the ITS over the comp at the same price point.

And a lot of current Integra owners already reached to afford the base. They can’t afford another $15k, especially with todays interest rates. If I was interested I’d be paying cash because of those rates. Not everyone can do that.

Dealers will sell a bunch at MSRP over the first few months. The ones charging ADM will only sell to those who know nothing about the car and can be lied to that it’s an ultra rare limited production car. They’ll even show the sales and pricing of the CTR and say the ITS is the same. But again, just like the base which dealers have like 40 of just sitting on the lot. The ITS will be plentiful by October.
