Absolutely! I prefer no drilling, but also prefer CF. 😑

Looks like no drilling is needed pop out the old, and fits in the existing lip holes that comes standard. Install vid ->

Yeah no holes required. Only uses the outer bolt holes an dthe inner clips get removed and covered with a tape. Not sure if this will effect any of the performance or cause it to move.

Hey exciting they finally launched it! I think it looks great, and I love the price--hopefully now that they have their mounting pattern down they'll come out with some additional (larger) options!

Highly doubt it will. That 3m tape is strong. The CF wing I had on my bmw was only held on by that tape and never had any issues. No issues staying on and surprisingly easy to take off with just a heat gun and plastic pry tools. The 3 additional bolts in existing holes doesn't even look necessary tbh.

Let’s see if theirs is any more durable than the OEM one. Purchased the CF spoiler one from the dealer and had them install it (out of shear laziness & not wanting to do the drilling myself). I had it replaced in Aug because the fake CF paint was wearing down.. I assume from the friction of the wind? Had it on the car for no more than 6-7 months. Had it replaced under warranty. Let’s see how long this one lasts me. If it wears down again going to get a 3rd one under warranty and PPF it.

Oem quality should be pretty solid. I have the M Performance wing on my 2 series and I recently found out they're all made in China. My bmw just has the quick ceramic coat wax from 3M applied. One year later and it still looks brand new, but it's real CF not fake CF paint.

I'm planning to get the OEM CF wing for my DE5 and not worried at all about wear. My DE5 is getting PPF and ceramic coated now and i'll ceramic coat the wing myself once I get it and install it. Should be fine for the life of the car. Modern paint and clear is way stronger than anything we had in the past.
