I think I've officially decided guys, my three final color choices are
top 1: ABP Ebony
Close 2nd: PRP
Acceptable 3rd: MBP
That’s my top choice too. I made a deposit for one and I’m waiting to hear back from the dealer when they receive an allocation.

My dealer just told me they aren’t building any in ABP yet and they don’t have an estimated run date. 😕
So, we may be stuck waiting for a while.
Yes, we may! Now we get to be patient together!! We all got this, and I look forward to all of us posting delivery pics eventually.

Impatient here. Lost $2k in trade-in value while waiting an extra month+ for delivery.

Eash, that's rough. Worst part is that it looks like it's going to get worse. I hope you don't lose any more.

What's weird is my dealer quoted me a trade in last month and told me they won't change the value of the trade-in regardless of market or how many miles I drive..... hmmmm

Starting to doubt this now, knew it sounded fishy

Not to say this kind of agreement doesn't exist. I've had this done with my two previous trade-ins and both were honoured, even though I put quite a few kms on it, and one of them even had a small paint scratch on a door after the trade-in evaluation.

Yeah that was a MAJOR factor for me jumping the gun. I had made the decision a few weeks ago to double down and move on from my precious 718 that I custom ordered and waited a literal length of a full-term pregnancy for... but being painfully aware of how used car prices seem to continue to plummet compounded by the issues with trying to sell a convertible in late fall/winter, I decided I needed to aggressively shift my timeline. I came close to giving up on the Integra; the right F80 M3 would have done it, and a decent deal for $5k over on a CTR very nearly did it.

Fortunately for me a couple things fell in my favor; a local dealership with a relatively new GM looking to foster a relationship, and an available car in transit.

The silver lining is there does at least seem to be a pretty promising volume of cars in transit right now. There are cars out there... and honestly I have to feel like the fact that used car prices are falling rapidly AND a similar influx in Type R inventory has to result in others getting the deals they want on these cars.

The right color they want though? Seems like that may have to wait, as it seems most of these incoming cars are either red, white, black, or tiger eye. Fortunately for me I was already starting to lean towards Performance Red anyway. Honestly where I landed was I was sold on the car, the color is secondary.

Except Tiger Eye; it's a cool color but not for me.

Try and negotiate. Another forum member is doing the same right now with great success.

Guys. I might be breaking the rules. I might be caving and paying a mark up :/
Travel to avoid markup if possible. Plus you get to correctly break it it on the way home. Done.

Being in limbo I’ve been cross shopping a RS3 and CT4 BW for a new daily. But really hope my allocation calls me before I spend even more money on the other two options.
