Where'd you go? Might have to check them out.
SunBusters in Austin. I've hade them PPF and tint three other cars previously, and they do excellent work. They aren't the cheapest, but they certainly aren't the most expensive either. Generally, they're right in the middle; a few hundred $$$ more than the cheapest quote, but typically about $1000 cheaper than the local Xpel shop here.

They're around the corner from me actually. Did you go full wrap or just the high-risk areas?

I just did the full front. I'll be tracking the car on occasion, so I don't want the front to get completely obliterated, but at the end of the day, it's not like it's a Ferrari. It is certainly a very special car, but I can't justify dropping what would likely be over 15% of the car's value on PPF.

Here's what I was quoted, and they say they have the template (CAD)

Partial front end - $1100 ( full bumper, half hood, half fenders, headlights , fog lights , mirrors)

Full front end - $1900 ( full bumper, full hood, full fenders, headlights, fog lights, mirrors)

Stripe on rear bumper $100

Is this a fair deal?

I'm paying that much in USD.

If your installer doesn't have the templates, I'd highly recommend either waiting or finding a new installer. The template very closely contours the letters, is barely visible, and looks much cleaner compared to just cutting out a rectangle.

This looks very good I’m very pleasantly surprised.

I don’t own an ITS yet. Buried on waitlist since March with no idea when I’ll get one.

that said, the picture I posted was from the demo they had on the show floor. Unless I know someone would do an excellent job I’d take the box cut out instead of having edges of letters peeling off. But your picture looks very promising

This is where I'm at. I'm directly on the middle of the fence on whether I want PPF at all on this car. Partially because it's just not that echelon of car that warrants a full wrap, and also partially because I have a long trip from Maryland to Ohio and back in a couple weeks and can't get the car in for PPF before that trip anyway.

But I will be tracking the car occasionally as well, and I really like the paint. And I will be keeping this one for quite a while. If the paint isn't already molested after the trip, I'll probably get PPF. Which is to say, I'll most likely get PPF.

Possibly splash guards too.

That feels like a steal in Canadian dollars.

If the TEP paint wasn't so difficult to match, I might have foregone PPF and just opted to respray when the time came, but that's not a great option with pearlescent paints. Plus, PPF grants some nice peace of mind.

My car came with PPF from the dealer and the film goes over the logo and it’s very flushed in. I also attached an image of we’re they cut the film on the body lines but the film goes to the edge of every aspect of the bumper. It’s very unnoticeable I didn’t realize it was there until I brought it in for ceramic coating and he told me no paint correction on bumper because of film

That's... pretty crazy. If you didn't post the second pic I'd have said you were nuts, there's no film on there. Especially done by/via a dealer? I would have probably done mine through the dealer but they only offered a coating that I would never buy.

I feel like I'm not using the right PPF shops lol.

I'm going throu the dealer for mine but they outsource it to the largest detail shop in the city. Also I got 10% going through the dealership..
