I am not a tire expert and am trying to understand this thread. I live on Long Island and want to swap out the OEM tires with all seasons on the factory rim.
1. Saw I can get the DWS06 with the same dimensions as the factory tires
2. Tire rack says I can also go with 245/40-18 which has a better selection of all seasons

Any advice or drawbacks not keeping the OEM dimensions? I have always had Michelin's on my car and would like to find an all season tire they sell that fits. We have lots of pot holes here in the spring.
I've already seen bent wheel on the Type S from potholes - be very careful & consider a forged wheel in the future if it's that bad.

You can go 275/30/19 in Michelin
Go 18s if you want a better selection and more sidewall. 265/35/18 keeps the factory wheel dimensions.
Thanks for responding. The 265/35/18 will fit the factory rim and mount onto the car without problems? Just checking since I cant find a resource that has alternative tire sizes I can fit on the factory rim.

Factory is 19" I mentioned an alternative 18" wheel.
265/35/19 could be possible. This will throw off your speedometer some and raise the vehicle. I believe someone else on here was going to try this.

Any chance Michelin will come out with an all season that fits the original tire specs? Seems strange I have to go to a DWS06
The only Michelin All season tire that would fit our wheel is the Michelin A/S 3+ in 275/30/19.

They are a taller tire. It will probably fit but your raising the vehicle off the ground about 0.5"(1" taller overall)

@Integra 23 Sorry for being ignorant, but I thought you recommended 265/35/18 because the dimensions where the same as the factory tire, just with a bigger side wall. Are you saying now I should skip that tire and look at a 275/30/19 instead? Wish Acura would have offered an all season alternative

If you are wanting to buy new wheels then the 18s would be the way to go and would allow for 265/35/18.
I wasn't sure if you were replacing your wheels or not.

Ah! Okay. This thread was making me worried that we had no options for any sort of tire 😅
It's a mixed thread. Some are looking for dedicated winter setups others are looking for all seasons.

Yeah, I think it just depends on the severity of each persons "winter". Great thread.

Nice find, for some reason tire rack doesn’t show that tire size for the pirelli P

Just to not make any mistakes. If I want to use the OEM rims/wheels and want to replace the tire with a Michelin all-seaon, you would recommend 275/30/19? Thanks for your feedback
