Bumps on weatherstrip?

I noticed these two odd bumps on the weatherstrip of the driver's door and thought surely this looks like a repair.

None of the other doors have them so I was about to order a new strip when my friend dropped by with his '22 Civic Si and it has the exact same bumps in the same spot.

Is this normal? Do you see this on your car?

Very interesting! Thanks to everyone for replying and finding the answer.

I love how driver centric the CTR and ITS is. Who cares if everyone gets rained on when opening the door? Passenger doesn't need a power seat. Rear seat? Pfft, no arm rests for you!
