Anyone have any pics of winter (or all season) tires on stock rims?

Has anyone drove their ITS yet on the stock tires in the snow? I kept my RSX to drive to work and in the snow but was just curious.
Acura Integra Oem tires in the snow. 54E1A451-44D2-4435-A022-3D3A8E1708AA

I don’t recommend it. Oem tires have little to no grip in the snow. The only way to get around is if you don’t let momentum stop and know how to maneuver the car swinging around.

Get winter tires

Just no ... Putting yourself and others on the road at risk. The OEM tire compound was never designed to see temps below 45F, let alone winter weather.

Mods please close this thread. :flame:

In summation, I was inquiring how shitty the tires were. I’m a criminal defense attorney and it’s an intelligent conversation. I’m not asking anyone to drive on snow. Thanks for your comment though. Appreciate it.

So earlier this year we got caught with freezing rain in early April. No warning just started raining and freezing. I was at work with my Michelin PSS tires. I left as soon as I realised, before it got bad and I limped it back home safely by taking highly travelled road and really reducing my speed and upping my following distance to a football field. It really wasn't fun.

Conclusion, you can technically drive in conditions the tires were not designed for but it's border line idiotic to purposely put yourself in a situation that's less than ideal. If you're caught in a bad situation like I was the important thing is to realize just how BAD these tires are in cold conditions and severely adjust your driving accordingly.

265/35/19 in Pilot All Seasons on stock rims works well (extra 5mm sidewall) esp since you said you have the grey wheels as well. I just mounted them and they are nearly as good as the summer tire handling wise. Dont forget you'll need a new set of TPMS for the winter setup. Tire Rack sells them and also has a Michelin rebate.

Thanks so much for the info. I was just wondering where I should take it since the wheels are new in the box/didn't want to get either set scratched. Does the Acura dealership do tires?

I would def go to the dealer for these as they actually require a special mounting technique (reverse mount) and the wheels are prone to chipping. The charged me $180 to mount and balance stand alone wheels and tires I brought over. They tried to charge me an hour of labor for TPMS calibration but I called them out on it (they will self program after 5 miles or so of driving).

Can I buy the tires through the Acura dealer? Unfortunately, my dealer is like an hour away.

Hi, can you please share the exact model? I am looking at Michelin website and there is also a load index.

265/35/19 are actually 1 inch larger diameter than 265/30/19 which is about 12mm extra sidewall. The 35 is a ratio - not a measurement of mm of sidewall. Your speedo will be off by about 4% compared to the stock diameter.
