Infotainment OTA Update

Hi everyone,

Just got this OTA update…was wondering if anyone else got it and where I might be able to find the change log?

I’ve been getting an error message for a while: “Unable to update / Code: 6382”

I tried reconnecting to my WiFi and using my iPhone. Has anyone else had this issue?

I’d rather not have to go the USB drive method every time.

I hope this resolves some of the CarPlay issues. Occasionally is takes a while to connect as well as other minor annoyances. Have you noticed any improvements?

EDIT: the car needs to be in the ON position for it to work. Hope this helps someone else.

Mine let me scroll down to view the changes. I’m glad they addressed the problem after a short ignition cycle. That was an issue for me a couple times.

When I started the update it took a LONG time to reboot. I thought the update had messed up but after close to 10 minutes of nothing but black screen, everything came back up and was working as expected.

It won’t work with the first Push Button press. Button needs to be pressed twice and in the ON position (full power to all the electronics and dash lights on). I’m sure it’ll also work with the engine on as well.

I’m not too familiar with the hardware specs of the infotainment…is it possible the onboard chip can’t support a newer Android release?

Did they add the browser back in? I wonder if this update will show on the Type S, Amazon isn't on this unit.

It's slow enough as it is so maybe I shouldn't expect too much, but every time the keyboard pops up I'm reminded of how out-of-date it is. I guess I can't balk at bug fixes.

Mine seems responsive running android auto. I did disable all unused apps including the 30 or so language packs that are installed.
