Type S gets more attention than Type R : Yes or No?

I get it, it's why we're all different. There are a ton of beautiful reds, I just happen to like this one more than most.

I still maintain that PWP was my first choice until I saw the mismatch panels, then it was ABP... until I saw this color in person, and decided I could live with it lol.
That performance red pearl is hard to beat, and was my first choice, alas Canadians were denied its majesty.
As a long time subaru apologist the ABP was too WRB for me lol.

I also dont think this car looks horrible in any color at all.

I actually really want to see a Tiger Eye ITS in person. I've seen it on I think an MDX- some SUV- at an unflattering angle on a cloudy day and wasn't a huge fan, but that's too small a sample size.

I also didn't like the Performance Red at first, because I saw it on a dirty base Integra as it drove by. I saw it again on a clean one up close and it made all the difference lol.

I will also echo the comment that this car cannot look bad in any color. I'm deeply curious what they might go with when and if a PCM edition surfaces.

I like those wheels. Are these 18s? or the 19s?

Mulling the 19x9.5 +44 but in bronze.
18s! 18x9.5 + 38 with a 265/35/18 tire. (Eibach Pro-Kit springs) I am planning to get 275/35/18 tire when these wear out.

My experience so far regarding attention has overall been good. It seems as if it sparks a lol of peoples interests. With a combination of the Integra's resurgence in 23, and the Type S model in 24 a lot of people don't know what it is, but they know it's a mean/unique looking car. I do get questions about it a few times month from all types of people.

Ever since owning this car, I've had a handful of people taunt me to race. In my opinion it's because of how aggressive the car looks, but there could be so many other reasons why someone would taunt.

I've never owned a civic Type R from but after speaking to normies seem less inclined to chat about fl5, because of how well known the civic line is, and how aesthetically comparable it is to the standard trim. I tend to agree with the car community that the fl5 has a timeless look to it, due to the safer approach. (comparing to fk8). ITS

fl5 looks like a young kids first car with a good looking wing on it.

And yes, it's kind of funny to see how many MUCH FASTER cars have rolled up on me wanting to race. Like bruh, I'm not a glutton for punishment -- I will not be running against your G80 M3 comp.

And I agree with you: the thing that won the DE5 for me -- looks -- will likely look outdated sooner than the FL5 and that's sort of okay with me....I think.

Yes, we are a far cry from the golden era at the turn of the millennium where a well kept JDM could be considered new to someone who is not into cars, but in the same way a late 60's, early 70's muscle car is viewed in 2024, you clearly know it's an old car for which you can easily identify the era but if you like the style it remains forever loved.

I think the ITS will be exactly that, an icon of the 2020's which if liked now will forever be appreciated.

Yes, we are a far cry from the golden era at the turn of the millennium where a well kept JDM could be considered new to someone who is not into cars, but in the same way a late 60's, early 70's muscle car is viewed in 2024, you clearly know it's an old car for which you can easily identify the era but if you like the style it remains forever loved.

I think the ITS will be exactly that, an icon of the 2020's which if liked now will forever be appreciated.

You're right though, I think there will be appreciation for the ITS in the years to come. But I am still of the opinion that between the two, the FL5 will age more gracefully.

The appreciation and the demand will come. I was under the impression that Acura wanted to target a younger generation with the integra name plate. The car is just at a price point where its harder for younger people to obtain.

Once the name plate gets a few more years marinating and the price to play is lower the young kids will be all over this. Aggressive aesthetics, aggressive exhaust, easy to drive and daily... Without any mods
