As title suggests, I am considering picking up some additional parts and doing a tune. Daily driving/spirited driving only. Would like to get to 375-400 HP reliably (yes, I know reliability is relative).

Current performance mods: AWE Touring Exhaust, PRL HVI
Looking to get: Intercooler + charge/boost pipe, downpipe. Let me know if anything else I'm missing here to consider...

I've never tuned a car before, let alone do any of those mods above. For those more familiar, do you think I'll run into any fatal reliability issues long-term with the numbers above? At which power number would you recommend doing an upgraded clutch (prefer not to do this)?

Also, if you're running a tune any regrets or things you learned/wish you did differently for this platform?

Thanks in advance!

Our man @JesterTuned can chime in here but from my understanding you should be able to achieve those goals with your current setup.
Thanks! I looked into several threads here and seems like Jester's is the way to go! As far as tuning with current set up, I guess my only concern would be increased wear/tear on stock components leading to early failure. In that case, I may just upgrade to those additional items.. but will wait to hear back :)

I think all you really need is a downpipe to get to 375 comfortably. According to Jester around 350 whp with no performance mods is doable. Downpipe and tune should get you to 375 with no other mods. Maybe Intake or high flow filter, but nothing else needed.

And this is correct, around 350-360 bone stock car depending on elevation, fuel quality and the weather conditions where you live.

Thanks! Located in Houston. Need to get my ECU unlocked still but will reach out. After reading up on your tuning thread between here and FL5 forum, I don't think an off the shelf solution is the move lol.

These cars can put up with a lot.

We're having a sale on PRL for intercoolers, charge pipes, and whatever supporting mods you want. (Except downpipes)

Running their setup on my FL5 and I love it! Personally, going with Hondata tune since they're local.
