I'd been eyeing strut tower braces to hopefully tighten up the front, and ended up grabbing the Sirimoto Phase 2 on sale from Pro Import Tuners. Packaged with care, arrived fast, and in excellent shape.
It's beefy and well-constructed. I really like the electric red brackets. It gives just a bit of "pop" under the hood.
As far as installation goes, everything was very straightforward. I had to remove the bar, as my ratcheting wrenches did not fit the nuts with the bar attached. Needed to rely on a socket in that case. The brackets are slotted for adjustment. For those considering it, and if you find yourself in a similar situation, I recommend removing the bar and not torquing the brackets down entirely and leaving yourself some play in the brackets. I then mocked up the bar, moved my brackets as-needed, then torqued them down and lastly fitted the bar. Smooth sailing.
I find that it tightens up the front a bit. Is it a monumental change? By no means. However, at the very least I have some additional tightness and some additional structural support, which can't hurt in my opinion. Looks great under the hood. Very high quality part.
Just figured I would share the info in case it would be useful to any of you. Hope it helps!
