I'm not saying that you're wrong. But, I can't find anything that supports what you are saying. Everything I can find verifies that bolt patterns are measured the same. 5x114.3 is 5x114.3 whether Acura or Subaru. The wheels might not interchange due to other dimensional differences, but the bolt spacing is the same.
Then how would one explain this:
The top pic came off a wrx with a 114.3 pattern(doesn't fit the Acura)
The bottom pic came off a Honda with a 114.3 pattern(fits the Acura)
I have confirmed this with the tire shop who was just as perplexed.
Look at the pics and convert to mm.

The answer, it's NOT 114.3, it's 100, the only other OE Subaru size. Your own measurement is verification.

center to center is 4 inches in the subaru wheel, 4.25 inches on the acura wheel. That's what I see anyway...

Five-bolt patterns aren't measured exactly CTC, but that's different oddity. The 100mm spacing converts to 3.94", so your 4 inch estimate is right on.

100mm is If you measure center to center, which is the incorrect way to measure 5 bolt pattern wheels(center to outside edge of opposite hole is proper way. See pic)
This dark wheel off the Subaru measures 114mm when measured correctly (see pic)
This silver wheel(fits integra) measures 120mm when measured properly (center to outside). It seems like Subaru uses the center to outside edge method where Acura uses the center to center method.

Check this out.
Look at the bolt pattern for the 2016 wrx it came off of from. See how it says 114.3?
That's center to outside.
Now look @ the center to outside measurement of the integra measured centered to outside..... 4 3/4" = 120mm

If you remove the wheel and measure from outside edge to opposite center, I believe you will find that it is 4.5", or ll4.3 mm. I think that you are letting the lug nut influence your measure estimate. You have to work with the stud. If your car is an A Spec, it has 5x114.3 wheels.

The easy way to define it:

4x100 bolt pattern = 4 bolts with a 100mm DIAMETER bolt CIRCLE.
5x114.3 bolt pattern = 5 bolts with a 114.3mm DIAMETER bolt CIRCLE.
5x120 bolt pattern = 5 bolts with a 120mm DIAMETER bolt CIRCLE.

Take a piece of paper, draw a circle with a 114.3mm diameter circle on it. Cut it out, and place it over the back mounting face of your wheel. The circumference of the circle should match up with the centers of each bolt hole if it is a 114.3mm bolt circle. If it doesn’t, it’s not a 114.3mm bolt circle.

Thanks! Perhaps I'll try that. Especially after I purchased another set of wheels that have the proper hub bore and are stamped 5x114.3 on the inside of the wheel and still couldn't get bolted onto the wheel. Thr studs don't center properly. Guys @ the tire shop said they've never seen anything like this happen before. Insanity.
what is this other set of wheel you bought from?

A CRV.( Voxx rims)I just picked up, from TireRack, a set of 114.3 Sport Edition rims that fit perfectly. The Voxx were also "114.3", but I had Sullivan tire measure them and they were slightly off, so it looks like Voxx wheels weren't made right.
I just learned if you measure from the front of the wheel, (wrong way) you get 120mm since it has a larger opening. back of the wheel will give you 114.3
The 1st seller (the dark Moda wheels measured incorrectly, are actually 108mm) Voxx wheels ,"114.3" mount onto wheel fine, but studs wouldn't center all the way around. Off by may 1mm. Strange factory defects, I suppose. Techs @ tire mounting shop said they've never seen that before.

so the CRV wheel fit or doesn't fit? I am getting mixed signals here.

I thought I was the only one scratching my head after reading his post. 🤷‍♂️

This. Non-Type-S has a bolt pattern of 114.3x5 with a center bore of 64.1mm. Not sure why this is even a debate. Integra Type-S has 5x120 bolt pattern.

WRX wheels posted for sale incorrectly or specs assumed incorrectly by buyer.

Someone close this thread. LoL
You would be correct. The seller measured/posted incorrectly. How do I close the thread? Thanks!
