Were you given an estimated timeframe?Just put in my order & deposit for the LSM in the GTA.
I really hope LSM is still available and the rumours aren't true.
We don't. It's a similar system to the USA where dealers may request certain colors but those are not guaranteed.Hey, I can't believe Canadian's even have the option to place an order. Consider yourselves lucky.
I would take the first one that was available to me, LOL!
They gave me a pretty conservative estimate: 2 years. I am fine waiting a year since my daily RSX is still in great condition. Were you given an estimated timeframe?
Canada has a different market than the US - these are sitting on lots south of the border and up here it's still a 2 year wait. They gave me a pretty conservative estimate: 2 years. I am fine waiting a year since my daily RSX is still in great condition.
Another dealership ("highest sales in Canada" - every dealer says this) told me for MY'24 they received 9 + 6 ITS so far. Preferential treatment for those who can finance and provide a trade-in vehicle. If not, extended warranty needs to be purchased if it's a cash purchase.
Apparently there are 15 people ahead of me in the queue so I have no idea when it'll come. Do you know if the LSM is being phased out? How long did it take to get yours?Canada has a different market than the US - these are sitting on lots south of the border and up here it's still a 2 year wait.
Not sure which dealer in the GTA you're dealing with - but Oakville was willing to do cash purchase without extended warranties or add ons (they put in a tire warranty and dealer etching by default but you can ask for it to be removed).

The only add on they put on for my cash purchase is wheel locks. This is fine with me as they do this to all their vehicles.
I’m also waiting with Campus as well. I was about to settle with a color (white) that was 3rd on my list (realized a matte ppf on white looks pretty nice), but they just reached out to me saying they ordered me a black one (1st on my list). Looks like Silver and Apex Blue is super rare.. I’ve only seen 1 Apex Blue in Vancouver and it was from the Burrard dealer. Maybe look into white + matte ppf? (I got this combo idea from a RCF that SR Auto Group (a dealer in Vancouver) was selling).I got a disappointing message from my dealer yesterday saying that my first colour choice (Silver) was not an option for ordering, but all the other colours were available to place an actual order. Does that make sense to you? I am still about a year away from relocating back to Canada/Vanc Island, it is really hard to believe I may not be able to get the colour choice I want.
Thanks for the info, super interesting...I would be open to white and grey as well, but I have never been a fan of the red interior, so it really limits my choice if I want an ITS. I think I might just see what the situation is like in 6 months from now...my backup plan is a Golf R, but really hoping I can make the Acura work.I’m also waiting with Campus as well. I know what you mean about the red haha.. We currently have a black TLX Type S with red interior and at first I remember being like “wow.. this is really red.. (first time having red interior) Will I get used to this?” (Back in June 2021). And today it just “blends in” with the rest of the car. But then again, the car is black. Makes everything seem darker. White and red is a much bigger contrast (which is why white was 3rd on my list). And Golf R pretty sick as well. I think there’s a good supply of them here atm. Thanks for the info, super interesting...I would be open to white and grey as well, but I have never been a fan of the red interior, so it really limits my choice if I want an ITS. Nice to hear that you get used to it. I did a quick search of new Golf R's on autotrader.ca and there are well over 300 right now, some with some pretty good deals off MSRP. But the heart wants the ITS .I know what you mean about the red haha.. We currently have a black TLX Type S with red interior and at first I remember being like “wow.. this is really red.. 2 years sounds insane to me, idk why they’re restricting supply that much. I myself was quoted 3 years to maybe get a blue ITS, so I’ve kind of dropped the idea in my head.My dealership also gave me a conservative estimate of 2 years. Placed my order last month. I do hope its sooner than that, but no rush anyway.
