I am taking delivery of my MY25 ITS later this month/early April from the dealership.
That is great to hear...I am hoping to get delivery around June (have been on the waiting list for a long time now), so it sound pretty realistic now that the '25's are showing up soon.

I have my deposit down with Erin Mills. I believe they were allowed to order 5 which are April production for May delivery.

I'm waiting to hear back from my dealer but does anyone know if the price of the ITS is locked in if a deposit has been placed? I put down a deposit in Jan/Feb with anticipated arrival of the vehicle in April/May.

I put in my deposit last April. So it'll be a year wait for me.

My dealer got back to me and essentially said they didn't know if pricing was secured or locked in. Just told me to cross my fingers.

thanks for that update. I kind of figured that’s what the response might be. It’s so aggravating not knowing so I’m hoping they arrive before we decide to tariff cars built in the States.

For what it’s worth, Acura hasn’t changed their pricing on the website for some time.

Ya I'm hoping our cars are built sometime in the next 2 weeks and en route before April 2.

Didn't the 2025 price jump up by about $2000CAD?

Also don't hold me to it but I'm fairly certain the tariff happens at the time it clears customs across the boarder. There's nothing Acura can do other than make the entirety of the Canadian spec ITS's quickly and get them across the boarder in the next two weeks. Otherwise it's at the whim of the politicians.

yeah, the price jump was an across-the-board increase. I meant since the ‘25 ITS’s were listed. Even the US models got a price jump so that wasn’t necessarily any reaction to tariffs.

Re: customs, I’d think it’s works a little differently for corporations/manufacturers but I have no idea, and ultimately you’re probably right. Nothing to do but hope for a delivery before things escalate.

oh wow. Thanks SilverRocket, for pointing that out to me. However, all the cars I've purchased from Honda/Acura/Lexus with a Lexus coming in highest at 16km. All have been under 10km. I would expect ~20km, not 30-35km.
Mine had 9km when it arrived it, but then I had a full solo test drive so ~40km when I paid.

I am about 3 months away from returning to Canada and hopefully picking up my ITS. Have been on the waiting list a long time, and it looks like there is a good chance one of the colours I want will be available. I just got the pricing sheet from the dealership, and they added over $2500 in extras...including ceramic coating, "care" package which I think covers interior/exterior blemishes, etc...none of it is value added to me. Is this what I should expect or am I correct in assuming MSRP + whatever mandatory dealer fees are all I am willing to pay is fair? TIA.

I don’t think there’s any harm in asking them to take it off. It’s usually not quality work or materials used, so skip if you can.

There was a local dealer in B.C. that insisted on a ~$6000 “protection and care” package that they wouldn’t budge on. Needless to say, I went elsewhere. Different dealers will have their own mandatory BS - I haven’t seen one yet with straight MSRP.

Which dealership? You should name and shame so others can avoid.

I agree you can try to negotiate them away. I dealt with this 2 months ago. I just called around and went with the dealer that didn't add any of these BS fees up front. I was lucky enough that they were getting an allocation of the colour I want.

Unfortunately at this point, you might be late to the game as other dealers may have buyers for the colour you want.
