Anyone know to what extent the ITS can be de-badged without leaving odd looking empty spaces in the absence of the emblems? I'm currently away from my car and want to try to do this over the weekend once I'm back in town - I hate logos and would prefer as few of them as possible.
  • Is the body-colored piece that the rear Acura emblem sits on removable without exposing any holes or hardware?
  • Is the black piece that the front Acura emblem attaches to integral to the grille itself, or is it removable?
  • Are there any Type-S emblems that cannot be removed without leaving an awkward emblem-shaped void? IIRC, the rear, left, and right sides emblems should be fine, but not so sure about the one on the front grille.

Thanks all!

There’s another thread of someone who just de-badged the side and rear TypeS emblems. As for the rear and front “A” emblems they can be removed but there are holes. It would look awkward if you didn’t fill it in and match the paint somehow

Thanks! Wonder if the front Type-S emblem is removable without leaving a rectangular backdrop.

For the front and rear Acura emblems, do know of the piece under the emblem itself is removable without

The rear “A” emblem sits on a base plate, both of which can be removed. There are two holes to deal with though.

Front emblem the circular base is fused with the grill. Don’t quote me on that as I’ve never removed it

Ah, thanks! Its unfortunate that removing the rear baseplate would expose holes, this was the one I was most looking forward to deleting.

not helpful but i'm thinking about debadging mine too. especially because my vanity plate says "DADS CTR" so i want people to scratch their heads. an "iykyk" kind of thing haha. also to troll my friends with CTRs to show my maturity superiority (while also showing my own immaturity, ironically.)

The rear emblem looks to have some sort of bump or impression under it as well as the holes...

Here's what is sitting under the front Type-S emblem, unsure if it can be removed and if so, what it may look like underneath...

Could always remove the emblem and cut out that plastic mounting area and create a custom air duct in it’s absence 🤙
