Tint/ceramic coat after installing body side moldings and splash guards myself.

This is so nice! What brands did you with for tint and for the ceramic coating if you don't mind sharing?

Best money can get in Xpel Prime Plus nano ceramic and Xpel Fusion ceramic coating. The coating is supposed to last 8 years with annual touch ups if it is to be believed. Front windshield 70%/20% everything else to beat the oppressive heat. $2400 after tax.

Ceramic coating is not cheap unless you do it yourself and have all the tools. The best nano ceramic tint for all the windows is also not cheap either. Not getting skin cancer and being much cooler is worth it to me. The ceramic coating was also worth it to me as I saw the paint condition the dealership delivered my car in from the factory…I had massive swirl marks that wouldn’t have come out without a paint correction. I will also say that this is the first time I was also comfortable not getting PPF which would have been another couple grand as the ground clearance of this car is good and the grill doesn’t attract rock chips like the GR86 did.

And if your shocked at $2400 for tint/ceramic which material/labor intensive…just wait until you see how much a dealer charges you to install the illuminated side sill plates. The money I saved installing that myself paid for half of this. We live in America. Shit ain’t cheap.

I have problems in all the new cars with heal toeing, if I'm not braking super hard. I installed the acuity throttle pedal spacer on my ITS. I also had it on my FK8 n really liked it. I personally thing its well worth the money plus they just nice looking products IMO. I had an DP, IC, accuity full cage shifter and hondata on my FK8. For the ITS going to just rock it stock for a while.

Picking up my car tomorrow. First thing that goes in is probably rear door sill protection. My kid likes to step on every bit of it going in and out. Lol

I think I'll look into intake and a tune within a year. Also engine mount upgrades. Depending on how it rides, I may want some suspension from CTR. But I do want to give some time for more parts to become available.

My immediate mods:
Black emblems front and rear, Debadge TypeS emblems, FL5 center arm rest, Alcantara wheel, All weather cargo mats, TuxMats, Type S Dead Pedal plate (on top of TuxMat), Skunk2 weighted shift knob (nostalgia to match my 86 Integra), Tint, and (probably matte) PPF (if I can get a decent deal through my work)

I may try to get matte PPF on some of the piano black interior bits to mellow that out. Eventually I will do Hondata jailbreak with some PRL goodies. It is daily, but will do a little track time too.

3. Type S Door Sill Illuminated Trim
4. Front illuminated A-mark emblem
5. Gloss Black Rear A-mark emblem
6. Gloss Black Type S emblems
7. Premium Type S Floor Mats
8. Type S Shift Knob (I had this removed as it was scratched and had the original put back on)
9. Alcantara Steering Wheel (I have the leather wheel to use later once the Alcantara dies)
10. Carbon Fiber Tailgate Spoiler
11. Type S Valve Stem Covers
12. Black Wheel Locks

Dealer was asking $60,119, I got it for $58,904 ($62,827 out the door minus $25,000 down).

I'm curious about the look of the body side moldings. . . .thoughts in person? I have also ordered the splash guards and the rear seat protectors with the cargo tray (to protect the back, I carry a lot of stuff around for my job).

Some colors will look better than others…namely their ability to disappear and look like an added crease. The kit comes with a template that ensures your molding lines up with the door creases so it at least doesn’t look out of place. I don’t mind mine because they don’t stick out too much and I appreciate the added protection.

I applied mine before so the moldings would be ceramic coated too. I also didn’t want any issues with the adhesives and ceramic.

Typically before. You want to adhere to the vehicles paint without the coating interfering - otherwise you're just stuck to the coating more than anything.
