For those who aren't in lucky 200, how flexible are you on color combos?

Interested to hear whether you guys are willing to pass if you can't get your top one or two picks for ext/int colors. I put a deposit down over a month ago, but the dealer still doesn't know exactly what they have coming in. They'll have 6 coming in after the demo car (already here).

For me, orchid interior would probably be a hard pass no matter what exterior color and black on black in FL is tough to get behind. I'd probably be open minded about most others but I certainly have a strong preference towards one or two combos.

So the question is - at $55k+ all in, do you settle or do you wait to get what you want, even if that means a long wait?

If I didn’t have an aspec/tech, I would probably settle. But if it takes till next summer… I’ll wait for the spec I want.

I will NOT settle. My color combination, or no ITS.

Yeah I used to think I wanted what I wanted, but I think the only thing I'm dead set on right now is the ebony interior. I do not like multicolor interiors. Just not my thing.

I was locked into white, but now I think I'll take just about any color that's not Tiger Eye... I'd still want to see more Performance Red in person, but I'm really digging the blue and black pictures that have been posted recently.

I wish they did Sonic Grey Pearl for this car... for obvious reasons if you look at my avatar.

edit- also I just realized that Platinum White Pearl is NOT the same color I saw on an NSX that blew my mind. I believe that color was Casino White Pearl:

Platinum White Pearl is suddenly less exciting to me now.

I have several colors I’ll be equally happy with so I guess I’m somewhere in the middle. I want black interior but happy with white, blue, or gray exterior.

My main preference is white, but push come to shove/take-it-or-leave-it: I would take Carbon or Blue as well. Reluctantly may also do black or Tiger Eye, but those two colours would actually detract from my enjoyment of ownership.

By all means do NOT let yourself make a purchase where you already know upfront something would, in your own words, detract from the enjoyment of ownership.

Better to wait a few more weeks/months than deal with any sense of regret.

Yeah for sure. I’m starting to lean towards getting my first choice of White, or nothing at all.

My color changes have evolved since I've looked at the ITS, and I wanting Apex Blue first to Tiger Eye Pearl. Honestly, not very flexible other than that. Apex blue, tiger eye, or nothing.

I think it would be easy if they were all lined up and you had the luxury of choice! Really hard to tell without seeing and we haven't seen a single picture of Liquid Carbon, Performance Red, or Lunar Silver. I was set on LCM because they had an Type S MDX in the showroom when I stopped by back in late April in LCM with the red interior and the combo looked awesome. The black accents really stood out. Plus, I have a red car and don't want two, and we have a Lapiz Blue Golf R and the Apex blue base Integras on the lot looked nowhere near as nice as the picts posted of the Type S.

I think I'll try and stay with my initial pick of LCM w/red, White w/red, or go completely off the reservation and go for Tiger Eye w/black if available. To be honest, with all the picts post already, I've been really surprised that there really isn't a bad color. Even in black the character lines still show well.

There's photos of a Red type S floating around that were captured.

If I get my second choice of LCM, I’ll likely opt in for the dealer black badges option (whereas I would eventually get red badges if getting White). Do want to see pics of the Type S in LCM first.
