Hi,

I have Hondata with Phearable tune.
With Hondata supplied tunes, the software allows to control pretty much everything - like disabling codes, etc.
With Phearable tune, the software can only flash the tune and doesn't allow to turn on/off anything.

From what I understand, Phearable website offers revision service if one need a change. Paying $99 for every change is somewhat steep.

Did I miss anything?

If it's true that I need to pay $99 for every change, I probably should wait until I have all mods installed.

Correct its per revision, so its better to have all your bolt ons etc done first.

I should probably clarify, im not affiliated, but based on their site it says "if you change your setup" so I assume they mean per setup revision, IE, you go from stock intake to high velocity, or stock down pipe to high flow. I don't know whether they'd charge you to make a revision as simple as disabling a code.

Im sure if you're getting a CEL you could probably shoot them an email to have it corrected.

Either way, going to the source vs. Forum would probably be your best bet lmao.

That said phearable is an OTS canned solution, as such, not likely nearly as good as a bespoke etune for the money.

It’s hard to tell from your post if you’re making a joke or you’re serious.
Tunes as in tuning the ECU.
I have the TSP stage one tune, and I love it although it is locked to my Hondata serial number and the tune is locked so I can’t even read the settings. I 100% understand this for OTS tunes otherwise people reverse engineer or resell, and the tuner would be out of luck.
New revision of the tune that require log data and or modifications of tables, I definitely understand a per basis charge. I also understand that OTS tunes are as is and should be understood that they are not to be modified..
That is where a custom tune comes in, and depending on the tuner depends on the support and the amount of changes they would do and what they would charge. I spoke with Garrix tuned at Hondata event and he said if he did the ET service with him, he would support changes.

When I tune cars I don’t charge for the little stuff adjustments. If you are my customer I will help you out. Like if you install a new mod I will look it over free of charge and make the necessary adjustment.

Kind of as a thank you for the business. Now bigger turbo and fueling mods that is an extra charge since it is a lot more work.

I tried to contact Phearable about raising the idle and was told under no circumstance even with the modification tune for $99 will they allow you to choose you own idle? What the heck, I've just wasted $300 bucks. Of all the things you should be able to choose yourself, idle speed should be allowed. What a waste.

Im not sure what you mean by RMM but my car with rigid upper and lower engine mounts vobrates horribly until 1000 rpms. It's manual trans and with an automatic you may have better luck with lower RPM but not on my car.

That is a legitimate need, Phearable should make that change IMHO. Guess what tune I'm not buying .............

Well, I do have an update. After being told they will not modify stock tunes they begrudgingly sent me a tune with a 950 rpm. In that email they said they will not go any higher. Like it freaking matters to them what rpm I run. I loaded the tune and it still vibrates horribly. Emailed them back again and questioned why the hell they care what rpm I run. Then they magically sent the 1000 rpm file I requested from the jump. After they sent several emails saying it can’t be done they won’t do it, can’t go higher than 950.
I don’t recommend going with phearable with a manual trans and rigid mounts. Total pain in the a hole. My ktuner stage 2 file after modifying the tune slightly is stronger and more fun to drive than the Phearable tune. Definitely not worth 300 bucks.

Reach out to me I will take care of you and will give you a crazy deal to just help you out since you did not like your experience.

But if you are using Ktuner I can’t help.
